Sakura Quest is awesome btw. Just letting everyone know. If you have time, you should definitely be picking it up. It's like Silver Spoon and Shirobako had a baby. It's dope as hell.

Yeah definitely. Episode 0 was p boring, but if you power through that episode then eps 1 and 2 so far have been super good, they're night and day compared with ep 0.

Is it better than id-0?

I think so. I only watched the first ep of ID-0 recently, but I think Seikaisuru Kado was much better in the mystery/thriller aspect. It definitely was more engaging too, jumps you right into the action (after the sleeper ep 0).

Though I can prob dig ID-0 too if I give it more of a chance, it seems to be slower more world building type. I think I'll pick it back up if people say it gets good/more engaging, I don't want to stick with a slumber fest.

sakura quest is prob a good show but after 10 minutes of being fairly blatant in what they were trying to get at in the first ep i pressed x

I think Petleguise was an interesting chatacter tbh, but he wasn't the highlight of the show. The show was all about the character development through multiple timelines.

Can we make a deal? I won't talk about Sakura Quest if you don't talk about fuku noise. We can both double spam about tsuki ga kirei

So...the new bad guy in little witch graduated in 2007. I also graduated in 2007. I'm officially too old to anime. I'm retired folks. I'm bad guy age.

I rewatched Rakudai Kishi and it's still one of the best animes ever made. I've always loved the idea of someone becoming inhuman or more than human in order to gain the strength to defeat their enemies - it's why animes like Fate/sn or Code Geass linger with me, and why I like stories like Worm. I think Rakudai Kishi touches on that theme more strongly than others.

This is especially noticeable in how so many of the Noble Arts are geared towards the exploitation of uniquely human weaknesses or taking advantage of the way humans are structured. I'm serious, like half the "special moves" are techniques that exploit biology or psychology, and the other half are improving on them.

Spoiler: i watched nozaki kun at a friends recommendation
it was okay? well, it was good.
the characters weren't bad at all, and very likable, which is great.
props for the troll ending of course. very salty

the comedy was... good, i guess. like, definitely enjoyable to the point where i was grinning or laughing every episode. but i cant help but think that it pales in comparison to nichijou, the other comedy ive seen

in nozaki, i felt like a lot of jokes sort of followed the same pattern. "Someone misinterprets a weird situation, has an exaggerated and funnily animated reaction." Stuff like the gag where the backgrounds guy and chiyo talk about briefs and the actor girl is like "EHH"
I'm not saying that the comedy wasn't fresh, other wise i wouldn't have enjoyed, but i did feel like some of the humor fell a little bit because of that

But yeah, pretty good. Kept me watching for sure. hmmm. 7/10? maybe i'm being too harsh, but nichijou was just godly and that's my frame of reference for funny shows
12p mini theme SOON. pre-ins? sure.
more info is also SOON.
