Ratings so far. Haven't liked that many at this point, some of the songs started out interesting but just didn't go anywhere at all?
Fiji was really nice, I liked that song.

I was going to write notes for each one but lost interest after about 11 songs. I might have another listen through, some of these have definitely been a pleasure to listen to and will make me explore some new artists. The others will be avoided like the plague I guess. Some of them were okay enough that I'd see if the artist has anything else noteworthy. So all in all this was pretty cool, time to figure out what the top10 were now.

Will probably re-listen to some of these to see how much replay value they have. The top4 might shift around a bit and 5-8 as well. 9+10 were both kind of 'meh' songs so I won't bother trying to reorder them.

In retrospect not the best idea, first time playing so didn't realise how exhausting it can get to listen to all the music. Have some much better ideas for future competitions

yeah i think this was a pretty polarizing contest overall

I listened to them all once with the following criteria:
- couldn't finish listening was <4 and just based on how long it took before I turned it off.
> finished but not really interested in hearing again was 4-6 depending how likely to actually end up listening again.
> anything i felt like I'd add to my library or be likely to listen to again was 6-8
> anything that I'd definitely add to library because I'd surely enjoy it again was 8+

I listened again to everything I rated 5.5 and higher. Some went down and some up but because song #9 and 10 in my list were pretty low ratings it didn't change anything.

Yeah I really miscalculated time factor and certainly will make sure the next song I enter is <6mins at worst.
