I wouldn't mind doing it sometime in my life but given that I'm arriving wherever near midnight I probably wouldn't fit into an organized schedule. In post 70, Errantparabola wrote:

I mean
1) while I'm assuming sapo and the nerd didn't ask for the location, the whole "don't give the address out" thing was listed twice in the e-mail and again in the first post
2) has it occurred to anyone how awkward it might be for everyone (except Iece) to have someone who everyone only knows as Iece's fucktoy around? On a social level it seems like it defeats the purpose.
3) posts like those kind of color the entire event. Like, oh... it's THAT kind of meet. Woulda liked to have known that before signing up.
I don't know any of the people in question so this isn't anything personal, but this is the sort of thing I'd expect to hear from some of my more awful college roommates.Sudo_Nym wrote:This is Iece. I'm on a train.
I'm going to echo what a bunch of people have said - it's hard to guess what a meet will be like until it's happening all around you. This turned out well, I think. A lot of people I wasn't sure about turned out to be really great, and there are a whole bunch of you I'd totally hang out with a lot given the opportunity.
I don't know what it would take to get that opportunity, though. We could use another commune.Everything you say and do matters. People will respond in ways you may never see. May those responses be what you intend.-

I had four and Influence. I thought for sure I had lost, but etc.Argent: The Consortium took 30 minutes to explain. We started at around 9 or 10 AM, and we finished at either 12 PM or 1 PM. Despite claiming that they couldn't possibly win, BBmolla won four votes for Chancellor and Vi had three.

I wonder if the expansions allow this.zoraster wrote:My biggest objection is that Five Tribes should really be a freaking five player game.

The adults were good at taking the high ground and sniping, but the kids traveled in packs. I don't think any of the other team noticed that after they caught me, I would blaze around that third of the arena to catch them from behind. Nope, as soon as I went out of sight, I stopped existing. Actions have consequences.
