Woohooo. Go Chip and Kim. I thought it was priceless that Chip and Kim came from third to first after the Caviar.
And I thought the guys were supposed to be macho... In all the guy-girl couples, Chip was the only male to eat those lovely eggs.
I already told my hubby that if we were to ever do something like this, he would be doing all the eating ones...
Mirna and Charla are both getting on my nerves, but Mirna more so. They got a really lucky break on their flight out of Buenos Aires as they were the last ones left at the airport.

Yes, but it was a "taste of the high life". Hopefully something I would catch. But I agree that it's not overly descriptive to make a decision on who is going to do the task.

Mirna and Charla walked because they couldn't find a cab I guess. Nobody else seemed to have a problem with that though.
Colin and Christy will leave at 11:27 pm and the other teams will leave around 7 or 8 am I imagine. I don't know why they took the fast forward as they had a 7 hour lead anyways due to the earlier flight they managed to book out of Paris. They would still have beaten anyone else to the pitstop even if another team did the fast forward. Now they can't use it next time if they need to. I don't pretend to understand... My hubby and I are of the same opinion as everyone else. An 8 hour head start is only going to get eliminated by the next place with hours of operation or at the next airport...
And the bowling moms now need to beg... Poor moms.

Looks like next week is going to be interesting again with Charla and Mirna. The previews look like they are pushing their way through somewhere. They are really getting under my skin. Let me rephrase that. Charla is ok, Mirna is not.
I really like Chip and Kim. I hope they do well on the next leg
The bowling moms really lucked out with the charter flight not leaving on time.
And poor Lance. It's for the best that they are out because now he can get his knees looked at. That just can't be healthy.

Yiippee, no more Mirna! Charla has done great and certainly has shown the world that little people can do as much as regular people. She certainly did more of the roadblocks than Mirna did.
And Chip and Kim are in first place
Now call me crazy, but isn't Egypt part of Africa? Why would everyone be "going to Africa" when they are going from Egypt to Kenya/Tanzania?

Hair will grow back. If it was me, I'd have my head shaved. I guess knowing that we'd come in last would be enough of an incentive for me.
So another non-elimination round. Only one more left and four more episodes. Who will be the top three? I certainly think Chip and Kim and Colin and Kristie will be there. But of course that all depends on the challenges as we know that Chip and the Bowling moms make short work of anything edible, but Colin/Kristie and Brandon/Nicole have problems with that sort of thing.
And the one thing that the Amazing Race has done for me is say that I do want to see some things in India, but it is sure not a pretty place to be unless you are going to certain places.

Woohoo! Way to go Chip & Kim
So how'd everyone like my fair city? Nice to see Calgary in the show to say the least. No wonder they got over $600 in cash this time, it probably took most of that just to go to Sunshine and back ...

Finally got a chance to watch the tape (I had to really force myself to stay away from this thread ).
I think that the first show was another classic example of: Why search when you can take the guaranteed clue. I don't think I'd ever do a search detour if I could take another one. Two teams did ok, but the third took forever to find the clue. Now I don't know if they lost additional time on taking the back roads...
Jonathan got on my nerves really fast. Especially the way he talked to his wife. I don't know how she puts up with him.
May fav team so far: Aaron and Hayden with the grandparents second. I haven't really made up my mind about the others yet, but Jonathan and Victoria have got to be the worst team for this race. He's such a ....

Not sure who I like best yet, but I agree that last week's elimination was very unfair. They'd been there forever and she hadn't found a clue I don't think that she missed it in the bales she did roll out, because they were pretty obvious.
My fav teams are the wrestlers and Jon and Kris now. I really liked the sisters

How come people don't know what a Stein is? Or confuse Bratwurst with Snitzel?
Silly people. And I think that Jonathan should certainly be punished. He can't run with a backpack and is whining, drops it, Victoria picks it up because she thinks they need to cross the line with it (I can't remember if they do or not) and he gives her sh*t.
