Waffles are so much better than pancakes. Pancakes are flat and boring, while waffles are ridged and delicious stuff like that.

You can have pancakes with eggs +bacon and syrup, like Mickey Ds.

The pancakes can be used like sandwich bread. Doesn't work the same with waffles since they are ridged and mess up the layout.

Not looking so good for waffles here :/

Waffles are obviously much better.

Cripser which is nice as well as providing for much more variation than pancakes, due to it's platform and "syrup traps".

Pancakes:
Plain, chocolate chip, bluberries cooked in? What kind of syrup? Butter maybe?
Waffles:
Fruit of all variety, cream, whipped cream, syrups that add flavour due to the "syrup traps", etc. etc. etc.

Take it from a Canadian, waffles are infinitely better. Pancakes are the choice of philistines.
