Don't know if this is the right place (I'm not new to Mafia, just the site) but I suppose I'll start here (I've registered sometime in the past, don't remember when, but I never did anything or posted here when I did). I used to play on Readandfindout.com for several years and modded a couple of games as well (also some random single games in other forums over the years), but unfortunately the attrition there is so large that we had to stop playing four years ago or so due to lack of participants. Any idea if I'd have to join newbie games if I were to start again here, or if I could jump in on the others?

New to the site is new to the site! You have all the qualifications of a Newbie, so feel free to join a Newbie game! If you would like, you may join games in the other queues as Newbie games, while recommended, are by no means a prerequisite to playing in the other queues!
Nice to see someone revisit an account from so long ago! I hope we make your stay worth it!

you can use your collective games modded on another site to count towards one game modded on this site for any qualifications

Huh, quite a bit longer ago than I thought! Can't remember why I didn't end up joining any games, must've been satisfied with the games on RAFO - it was still very active in 2009.

Good to know. should I send links to someone on the site Moderation team to have them verified, or is it enough to put them in my signature for example?
Generally you can join whatever type of game you want, unless the mod of a specific game adds specific experience requirements (in which case, they would say so, and you would contact that game mod).
If you want to mod a game in a queue that requires previous moderation experience, you would contact the person in charge of that queue (that'll be the person who started the thread with their name in green) to see if you can do that.

My first introduction to the world of mafia was through playing a 20+ player game of werewolf in my friend's dorm our freshman year. I've fallen in love with social deduction games ever since.
I haven't been playing mafia online for very long (less than 2 years) but I did because I wanted access to more game opportunities and I still do .

Hello! I have some mafia experience, but as my regular community is quite small (and I tend to be killed off early ), I decided to get some experience elsewhere. Google brought me here, we'll see how it goes.
It's more that the meta I came from is quite narrow, and my playstyle doesn't really fit. Which is why I'm here. Glad to see that this community is more open minded...
