Hello, I'm new to this site.

I have played about thirty to forty games live, so forum games are new to me.
ESL, might make mistakes. Sorry.

Hey there, I'm new. I've played a bit on other sites, but the main site I played previously has kind of gotten... ehhh... with their games. So I've come here. :)

Eh, I'd rather not say. They might get offended if they see this post (although I had a different username there, they know about this site and I believe my account).

Hello! I would hug you all but apparently, that's inappropriate. ^_^
Seriously. Read your role PM before playing.
I am sorry if you have to prod me, I have absolutely no concept of time.

My prefered pronoun set is "cie/cir/cirs[elf]" but they is more than acceptable.

I am not, as a female, going to offer total strangers five feet of rope and ask them to make themselves at home. Whatever will they think the theme of the forum is!

And aw, hugs are good!

Don't worry, the ropes are for hanging people, not what you're thinking. As a mafia forum we go through a
lot
of rope.
Plus, five feet isn't really enough to do that anyway, not unless you get
quite
creative.

hey my names jake, i'm pretty excited about the games. i wish they had speed games, where you could sit down, a lot about 3-4 hours of time, and hash out a game in that time period. i feel i'm getting frustrated with the length of games and havent even played haha. but i guess it comes with the territory/environment and i'll get used to it with time. how do you remember 1 conversation of 3 months? crazy goons

Welcome! I -think- there may be occasional speed games in the AIM chatroom thing that's linked from the site, but I am not 100% sure (Never gone in there before/yet, just thought I read references to it around the place). Also the forum software does help re: keeping track of what someone has done, with the Display posts by user: thing at the bottom of the page. But yeah, some games do tend to get a bit long. But good (hopefully) memories of a game in the end right? :)

Jake: there are marathon games where you do just what you asked about, but I don't know the full details about that. I'd recommend asking someone with more experience. Flay will probably come in here and illuminate us. Or haylen.

Lane/Jake: Keep an eye on the Marathon Day forum, that'll give you what you want, but they only happen every so often because of the strain it puts on the server (there's definitely going to be one later this month, just not sure what date yet).

Also, the AIM chatroom "scumchat" also plays pickup speed games, but only when there's enough people. aim:gochat?roomname=ScumChat&Exchange=5

Or the IRC bot, XylBot. If you're interested, let me know.

The XylBot IRC games or the Scumchat games are probably the fastest, i don't know much about the scumchat games, but the XylBot games are typically very quick.

If you don't want to use IRC or AIM tho, marathon games are your best bet.
