I love TV shows, perhaps too much.

I found his first season too painful to watch, so I actually stopped about 2/3rds of the way through last year

I haven't really watched many Brit panel shows this year, so I've kind of divested in Noel Fielding keeping it real

Slowly but surely working my way through Black Mirror. I started, I think almost a year ago. Just watched White Bear and goodness was it hard to watch. So well done though.

Black Mirror is... Something.

I binge watched the entirety of seasons 1-3 over a weekend and then proceeded to have a minor breakdown. It was great :D

My personal favourite episodes are White Christmas and Shut Up and Dance. White Bear is also pretty up there in my rankings though, definitely one of the more hard-hitting stories.

Agreed. Rahul was my fave throughout but he was the weakest in both the semis and the previous week.

Someone introduced me to Black Mirror by way of "White Bear", and that was a brutal but brilliant start to the series. It's one of my favorite episodes, and I now also recommend people start with that episode instead of "The National Anthem".

I want to binge the rest of the series, but I've promised to watch it with friends, so I'm waiting for periods where the three of us have free time. I'm low-key glad that I'm not binging the series, though, because individual episodes can be downers and I don't want to become a nervous wreck by blowing through a bunch of them at once.

I'm having fun with Arrow and Daredevil series

Jessica Jones and Luke Cage didn't work very well to me, but Daredevil is doing fine atleast.

I really wanted to see that but it's on a paid station so I'll just wait until it's finished and torrent it, probably.

Honestly if you're gonna pay for access to any premium channels, Starz is probably the best one (HBO is overrated af).

That said, yeah torrent away when it's done. If you want other Starz content to torrent, Spartacus and Black Sails are both amazing

I accidentally started Black Mirror with "15 million merits" and "Entire History of You". Decided to skip the real first episode forever and I've just been skipping around, watching what I want. Probably skipping National Anthem and Waldo Moment forever. Seen the rest of those seasons. I still have everything in season 4 beside metalhead, and I need "nosedive", "hated in the nation" and "San junipero" for s3.

bandersnatch was interesting
for those of you who don’t know, it’s a choose your own adventure experience, quite innovativd
contentwise not the best black mirror episode ever imo but def a worthy add to the pantheon

actually just had a weird and intense dream about it
maybe the involved nature of the episode causes it to leave a bigger relative impression

Just finished watching "You" on Netflix.

It's almost every Stalking For Love cliche rolled into one 10-part series and dialed up to 100. I did like the thriller aspects of the show, but I thought there were some major problems with how the stalker main character's increasingly crazed behaviours were portrayed as justified not only from his own PoV but within the logic of the show.
While of course most sane people should be able to recognise that things like murder and kidnapping "for love" are bad without the show pointing it out to them, I couldn't help worry some people might at least subconsciously absorb some of the Nice Guy / incel narrative that everything revolved around. Like, the main character literally narrates Nice Guy talking points over every action he carries out and it often becomes painful to listen to because the show refuses to ever make any obvious challenges to his logic and goes on to affirm many of his assumptions as correct.

I googled for reviews after finishing the series to see if anyone else had similar thoughts and could articulate them better than me and this is the first one that came up dear god
