I did not.

Arya is a fucking psychopath. Teleportation is bullshit. Sloppy writing. Good action scenes. You know, the usual.

What do you mean? Surely there has been no time where Cersei was supposed to be somewhere but lead all of her enemies to that one spot in order to defeat them all in one blow?

Take the survey. Good vs. Bad. Evil vs. Good. Characters!

Don't think I was fair on Sam's ugliness, but I also didn't spend much time considering that axis or making sure they all were calibrated correctly. I also don't really think Sansa is THAT attractive.

PS. Why do people find Daenerys so hot? She's certainly attractive, but definitely not upper tier in terms of lookers on the show. Plus her acting.... leaves something to be desired.

I think most people will find it difficult to explain why they are or aren't attracted to someone. Deanerys would be something like number 3 for me, and all I can say about it is that I've always had a bit of a thing for dyed blondes.

Yeah it's not that people are into her. It's the strength of it that puzzles me, I guess.

i'll buy the badass character part as playing a role, but eh. She's probably not in my top 5 most attractive on the show, depending on how big a character it needs to be to be a character.

I know we're supposed to be past the complaining about teleporting and all, but...
gendry ran from who the fuck knows back to east watch, sends a raven 1,000 miles to dragonstone, causing dany to fly 1,000 miles+ to the rescue, all in about the same time it took water to freeze, in the coldest place on planetos, next to the guys who freeze fire and bring the goddamn winter.
That is just a little silly.

These last 2 episodes have been disappointing...

If that distance is accurate I think the only issue is the raven.

Edit: quick research suggest its likely closer to like 1800miles, so yeah, thats like 2 days of extremely capable raven flying.

Shhhhh don't question it, just embrace the soon to come incest.

Also Fucking knew that was going to happen eventually. Nothing about this episode caught me off guard
Spoiler:
even if Arya had killed Sansa which is something I am honestly expecting to happen. Probably would have already happened if Martin was in writing.

Reminder that this plan to convince the most untrustworthy person in Westeros to ally with them has now cost Dany one of her three dragons.
I'm sure it will be worth it.

Unlikely. The Night King was created from a First Man, while Targs are Valyrians. He was created to help protect the Children of the Forest from mankind, which place him before the Pact between them and no less than 10,000 years before the first Targ came to Westeros.

[/quote]

This is VERY unlikely if Martin was in writing

Spoiler: Arya and Sansa in the books
Arya and Sansa's Journey's are extreme parallels in the books.

Arya is alone, pursued and in danger in Westeros, until she flees to Essos. There she is hosted by the house of black and white, who teaches her their secrets but tries to erase her stark identity. In TWOW we are expecting the moment when Arya will reclaim her Stark identity by using what she learned to take revenge on someone from her list (Raff the Sweetling), and going back to winterfell.

Sansa is alone, pursued and in danger in King's Landing, until she flees to the Vale. There she is hosted by Littlefinger, who teaches her his secrets but tries to erase her stark identity. In TWOW we are expecting the moment
when Sansa reclaims her Stark identity by using what she learned to marry Harry the heir, unite the Vale, and take revenge on Littlefinger for starting the war of the five kingdoms (she already has access to all the evidence in the books), and going back to winterfell.

=====

So while the details of their paths are different, in the books the sisters are being drawn closer together than further apart. There is no Lady crane in the books -- Arya's sword is her connection to home, to her family. Same thing goes to Sansa -- she learns to use "courtesy as her armor", as her mother did. Martin can be quite a bit bloody, but he is not a nihilist, quite the opposite -- the starklings are each on their own hero quests, even if it is possible that some of them may fall along the way (poor Rob).

Also, it is highly predictable that LittleFinger is getting the axe next episode -- The showrunners are spreading this thread thin for the sake of putting all the "shocking" reveals in the last ep.
