irl mafia: big mistakes

This forum is for discussion about anything else.

Should we commend IS on his hilarity, or castigate him for his cruelty?

irl mafia: big mistakes

Post Post #0 (ISO) » Tue Feb 25, 2003 9:00 am

So there I am, safe and snug and scummy in the rocking chair of the apartment of a guy I haven't met before tonight. There are several pretty girls present, but unfortunately they seem to be all giggly (as girls will seem sometimes).

So I'm accused, and must make defense.

1st Big Mistake: I take a while to formulate an answer, and EVEN WORSE I hem and haw while doing so. Go verbal distractors! I tend to mull over my answers a bit before replying in conversation anyway, but of the 14 people here, 2 know me.

2nd Big Mistake: I tend to elide whole sentences and definitely idea segments face-to-face. I usually leave them out because I am paradoxically both lazy and excited and unconsciously assume everyone can work out the shape of things by the hints I drop, like breadcrumbs on the trail to Truth. This can make me nearly incomprehensible, as it did in this instance.

Biggest Mistake of All: In what may be the best Sleudian Frip of all time, I state: '...so you can't find me guilty, because
I'm not innocent
.

Hilarity ensues.

I make a fair way toward recovering, gaining three votes of innocence out of seven, but my time has come and so I die.

One of the people who knows me outside of tonight was dead Primae Noctae; the other was fellow scum. I get no help, no quarter.

Thus, my big mistakes thus far in RL mafia.

I don't see the correlation between the poll and the post. And I haven't found anyone who wants to play mafia IRL in over 3 years. That's why I play here... and have so many posts... sob...

Biggest mistake IRL? Playing in the same game with an ex-girlfriend, who was mafia... can you guess who was murdered on the first night?

OK, the poll has nothing to do with the thread, but I think there ought to be a "castigate him for his absence" option.

As scum, killing the doc, and having the cop come out, only to not kill him the following night because I wanted to surprise everyone.

The upside is they were surprised!

...I got investigated and, subsequently, lynched. :(

D'oh!

The best bit was, I tried as a last-ditch effort to claim "real" cop.

We play here with a character called "Terrorist", who plays with the Mafia, but doesn't know them. He has the ability to blow up himself and another person of his choice instantly.
It may happen, that the terrorist accidently blows up an mafiaplayer.....
I wonder, what this red button does?

That's right, it's a non sequitur!

Actually, I just thought he'd find it funny.
