Why won't stupid people die?

Earlier tonight a friend sent me an address to an online comic strip that she found hillarious.. Ben Affleck goes up to Megaman.. Megaman asks if the man is in fact Ben Affleck. The man answers yes.. Megaman blasts Ben Affleck away with his laser and says "Gigli sucked!"

Hahaha, that's a good one.. oh wait, that's *bleeping*ing stupid! Who in their right mind would find that funny at all? "Haha, that man made a clever observation..." No, it's a *beelping*ing stupid joke. Gigli sucked.. it's not hillarious to make fun of it.. it's *bleeping*ing stupid.. nobody cares anymore.. in fact, nobody ever cared. Anyone who cared.. is an idiot.

I want to personally go over to that 'artists' house and slap him for making the stupidest thing I have seen in quite a while...

So here is what I have decided.. the next person who says UR or 2 instead of to.. I will just shoot. Who's with me?

[Don't take this the wrong way. You have a point to make...but maybe you could get the message across without the gratuitous swearing. I *love* it and consider it part of life, culture and language. Not everyone shares this view, though. There are a whole bunch of kids joining up who have, no doubt, been able to swear better than sailors for quite some time, but consider the implications of one of them being found browsing this page, where *gasp*, in the first post alone, f*** has been used 3 times without due cause.

Anyway, re the humour. You're probably not looking for something like "Hey, man. Everybody's humour is different. You cut that megaman-fan some slack etc." but consider: if the really atrocious "humour" didn't exist, how could you appreciate true hilarity?

Oh yeah, I forgot that I was going to play devil's advocate here. Genku, the joke wasn't that Gigli sucked, or that Ben Affleck deserved to die for it. Those were just the data that the joke was based on. The humor in the strip came from the setup of megaman making sure that he was Ben Affleck. The normal resolution for a scene like this is something like asking for an autograph or other such paraphernalia. Shooting him would be a total reversal. Which is at least funny to some degree. I admit that this may have been lost in poor delivery(at least 99% of humor is in the delivery). I have not seen the actual strip, only your somewhat biased summary.

very opinion is biased, because it's, after all just an opinion. If I say that you can jump off a 5th floor and live to tell the story, my opinion is biased, because there's probably someone that doesn't think like I do (actually, I think you'd probably die in that situation) so all we can do about genku's "biased" opinion is agree with it or not.
