Pretty bad? I don't think they'll actually get relegated though. But their director of football has to go before January transfer window and they need to sign one or two good forwards (Michael Owen might be available depending on what happens at Newcastle).

The main concern for them is that 2 of the 3 promoted sides, Hull and WBA don't look like they will be relegated, so some of the established clubs might go down, Tottenham, Newcastle and Everton being rather vulnerable, though all of them seem to have enough quality to avoid the drop.

Michael Owen is on 130K a week on a brand new contract. Not to mention that he's not very good.

I would suggest you could get better mileage elsewhere.

I disagree. I think that Tottenham will get their act together (hopefully after playing Arsenal) and finish relatively comfortably well past relegation, but not as far as a top-half finish. Juande Ramos will not let his reputation go down in flames after the wonders he worked in Sevilla, and I'm expecting him to bring the team to an about face.

P.S. I'm a Gooner, and yet I still find pity for you Spurs fans, since if you guys get relegated, we only get to play West Ham and Chelsea in derbies, but the derbies against Tottenham are always the fiercest. So, stay up, or we will have to settle for the Blues and Michael Essien (who seems to score for them in the nick of time to swindle 1 or all 3 points in every game Arsenal played at Stamford Bridge).

as another everton fan, this.
tottenham are one of the more enjoyable teams in the league at the moment and it's nice to see a new team looking to be able to consistently finish at the top outside or man U, Chelsea, Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool.
