I'll look for something on either side of $100. I like Papa's recommendation, but the price tag on it is a little hefty.
This card is a significant upgrade over what you have, is pretty close to your price range, and should be fine with your motherboard. Also interesting is that your motherboard supports crossfire mode, which is when you plug in two graphics cards and they act in tandem. You could get another 7790 at some point and do this.
Here's some
more info on your motherboard. One note from here is the CPUs that it supports - you could also upgrade your CPU if you want to get even more mileage out of this PC. I
believe
this is the max processor your board supports... I'm not sure, AMD apparently makes tens of thousands of processors and it's hard to tell.
Here is a master processor list, your board should be able to handle any of the Phenom II X2, X3 or X4 processors that have AM3 listed in the socket column. Your current processor is the Phenom II X2 555. You can see a comparison of the one I linked earlier and the one you currently have
here.
One thing to keep an eye on is your power supply. Make sure it has enough wattage to support any upgrades.
