I've received several of these types of mail as well. Just today I got one from Fred@mafiascum.net
As I use Netscape for my mail I never have trouble with viruses. The only trouble is deleting all the mails from infected people .

If you use Windows, you are still vulnerable to most viruses that don't use outlook explicitly. The current viruses actually use their own SMTP engine, so it doesn't matter what mail program you use.
I'm back. No - what was affecting my computer was the hole left by a file my girlfriend deleted. She received an email warning her that if you have the file on your system, you should delete it because it contains a virus. Which it didn't - without it Windows couldn't boot. I had to reinstall everything. I have also received emails pretending to be message sending fialure notification from a Mailer-Daemon.
I'm going to alter the email address in my profile to see if this effects the number of them I get everyday.
Yipe! I thought it might have been an email address spider routine in the worm that had crawled through here and picked up all our addresses etc. Now that I've changed my email address I can't get back into my account :/
I used an old email address, which I thought I remembered the password to. Bah.
ScanMail for Microsoft Exchange took action on the message. The message

I've never heard of this take2 guy, and I never sent anything like this. Suggestions?
Maybe you should look at this: Take Two Interactive
Yep, it's a game company. Works with Rockstar (Gta, Max Payne, etc..) take2@callcenter.fr is an email there... I don't know what that means, but yeah.
"Still looking for one, heh" Dragon Phoenix, inside the 2nd DP9 Modprod.
probably that take two interactive is as plagued with the virus as we are.

Get a good virusscanner and clean your pc.
Network Associates (www.nai.com) has a tool to remove some virusses, including mydoom. It's called stinger and works pretty good.
Get it here.
It's probably not your computer. The current worms send out mail as if they are the people in the infected person's address book. It's more likely that you are just in that person's address book (along with take2)
But, it's always goot to make sure you have the most recent virus scanning software.
