All right this topic is about urban legends...i found one of the best urban ledgends web site!! ill give you the link... www.snopes.com ... they have pictures videos just about anything...i think my favorite urban ledgend would have to be either the whole walt disney being frozen one or the one that paul mcartney is dead and the beatles tried to come up with an excuse that he really didnt die... this topic is to post neat uband legands that you've herd of, if it's a made up story that you want to post that you think is cool and you want to get attention, just leave right now... well if you have a really cool picture or video to go allong with your urban legdend give us the link to the web page or just put the picture in your post...

It's a great show on discovery channel with these two (hilarious) guys that try to prove or disprove different myths. it usually involves something that explodes you should check it out.

I remember seeing one episode....they dropped a hammer out of a crane over the ocean and then dropped a dummy to see if the hammer broke the surface pressure of the water and therefore the dummy would be less damaged. I think they just wanted to drop the dummy as much as possible, because they did an unnecessary amount of drops.....

If they did anything less than a couple hundred drops, they couldn't have proved anything. I saw that episode and I think they only done it twice, once with the hammer and once without. Where's the unecessary drops?

I saw one where they were testing out the theory that JFK was shot with a bullet made of ice or anything frozen, it was cool, they made umbrella s and shot a test dummy with one and there was practically no evidence of an entrance wound and there were no scorch marks from the heat, only they used an actual bullet, but theres no way that any bullet could be made out of anything frozen because it would melt in the chamber as soon as it was fired, at least thats what they said
