This discussion basically comes down to "the ability to manipulate any fourth dimensional factor is always the right choice". Manipulating space or time or both is absurd.

Assuming that is off the table, (which also rules out precognition), I probably go for some sort of empathic control. Reading minds can drive you crazy, there's somethings we aren't meant to know, but the ability to see, feel and control people's emotions seems pretty ideal from either a good or evil perspective.

Actually, thinking on Omniscience is really interesting, because I have to assume for the argument to be consistent that we are only allowed to have ONE power, so having omniscience AND omnipotence is out. So you can either be a god-like being without the knowledge of the extent of your power or existence, or being all knowing, and unable to do anything about it.

Both seem rather poor.

If this were actually a thing, I would be pretty mad that everyone but me got the thing I wanted.

Time travel isn't bad but could lead to a lot of heartache.

So much shapeshifting. But shapeshifting is actually pretty awesome.

I am happy with shapeshifting. Still experimenting with it, so I haven't used it for that much, but I would simply like to say that the human race really should have 2 thumbs. Like, I gave myself an extra opposable thumb on the other side as the first thing I did, and it is glorious.
