I hadn't considered the plight of you Carolina people in this matter.
Truth be told, the Lions are close and decent and now I appreciate their closeness and decent-ness all the more.

The Lions as in Orlando City?
Yeah I've decided they're the MLS team I'll be supporting at least to some extent

Managed to have a friend give me tickets to some MLS celebration party last night. I'm pretty sure that was a party for MLS big shots and I didn't belong.
Stu Holden was there and that was cool. Eric Wynalda was there and that wasn't as cool.

Columbus blatantly fouled Larin at least twice while the ref was watching without consequence.
Is this just going to be a 'let's bitch about refs' thread? Because I could get in on that shit.

Except the MLB thread. That's a bitch about the UMPIRES thread.
DC-RSL put up a combined ten goals last night. Crazy stuff.
Also, MLS as a whole set a record for most goals scored in one day with 39.

Would have been 40 if the refs had allowed OC's goal at the beginning of the second half what an absolute farce
That's quite a lot of goals.

yeah, growing up a ten minute metro ride from RFK made me kind of spoiled when it came to MLS. having United win three of the first four added to the spoilage. can't wait until they -finally- build the new stadium at buzzard point. loooooong time coming.

MLS Decision Day
Looks like NE Revs will be making the cut for playoffs.
Orlando is eating cards left and right.
DC/Columbus game is ok, if it a bit unexciting. I wish the NE/NY game was broadcasted.

I thought NE making playoffs was a foregone conclusion unless Orlando City FC made up like 7 goal differential? Seeds may change but the East playoff teams are all but set.
The most interesting games will be at 7. Seattle and Sporting KC are 1 point ahaed of San Jose at the cutoff line. I know KC takes on LA Galaxy and San Jose get FC Dallas. Not sure who Seattle are playing.

Orlando isn't broadcasting here for me, had to keep up with it on ESPN's gamecast.
