Random Song...

Ok, I'm delurking to request help from the Indie/obscure/whatever mages of the Mafiascum boards.

I woke up this morning to an amazing song being played on my local college station. I woke up fairly close to the end, it was all instrumental at that point: at least three different guitars just going wild and jamming, incredibly cool. Then it finished up with a closing stanza or so of lyrics.

All I can remember is a line about "Mud pies and [something] pies," something being strawberry, apple, cherry, or something. As I said, I had just woken up, and was very groggy. They mentioned the name of the band, but I was in a sleepy state, and wasn't able to remember it.

This song was awesome. I know this isn't much to go on, but does anybody know what the heck I'm talking about?

Thanks in advance,
Rite

What time did you get up? Call the station, they might have a time log of songs that they played. It might help to expand 15 min before and after to make sure you get all the possible songs.
Of course my experience with the song log comes from working for a group of stations in the Kansas City area. So I don't know if all stations keep a similar log.

Thanks for the advice, Kingpin, I rattled off an e-mail to the station!
