Just dont put anything on your desktop?

I prefer my desktop clean anyway and then you can use whatever background you want, plus it looks way better.

But yes, I agree. Too busy and you can't read folder/file names easily.

Anything dark at least works, light colors I lose things in more so shy away from. I just use black because its the easiest to see things on by far.
