Totally listened to everything on the first day and made a vague ordering list thing and been too lazy to re-listen since. Guess it's time for that. Also not sure whether to give North Korea all the points or none of the points =p

Philippines - Ehhhh... I guess I expected more.

Cook Islands - ok.

Hungary - It's nice. Easy to listen.

Azerbaijan - Eh, it's ok. So long though. Come on, just end already.

Latvia - Not bad, but ehh. The best about this entry was that when I was looking for it on Spotify I rediscovered the mythical Portuguese band with the same name. They'd "cover" famous rock songs with silly lyrics in a southern Portuguese accent. "Knock knock knocking on heaven's doors" became "Throw yourself in the sea and say they pushed you / Kiss me in the mouth and call me Tarzan". Huge success.

Cote d'Ivoire - Ok, sounds fun.

Spain - Liking it. Yeah, pretty cool! Love the rhythm.

Mali - It's ok.

Iceland - Hmmmmnoo. Sounds too sad. Like, the kind of song some people would cry to.

Uruguay - oh yeah. Love how the song is matching my expectations based on the image. Awesome. Yeah, love this.

The Principality of Sealand - what?

Portugal - Hi. Bye.

Finland - Another sad song. Ugh.

Singapore - This is too short and there's not much to it.

Belarus - *listens curiously*. It's nice.

Bhutan - nice enough.

India - Cool!

North Korea - ...

Netherlands - I know two songs from them. This is one. I like it!

Ukraine - This is ok.

Greece - It's nice.

USA - That's some mean rapping.

Chad - It's ok.

Federated States of Micronesia - ooh, nice!

Republic of Kugelmugel - Ok.

Overall, I think it was a good contest. Some stand out songs, some songs I liked and a lot of "ok" songs fighting for the last spots in my top ten.

Here were my approximate top 10

Mali: I instantly liked this song, especially when he started singing. Something cool about it. Although I got food poisoning the same night I was listening to this and got it stuck in my head, so I started feeling sick thinking about it. But other than that, woot!

Cook Islands: Sounds whimsical

Netherlands: I didn't want to like this song mostly bc Sleigh Bells sounds familiar and I think I didn't like them but hey, I liked it well enough. Interesting song! It also reminded me of a song from a Mary-Kate and Ashley movie. Idk why

Chad: I liked parts of this more than others.

Cote D’Ivoire: So whimsical

The Principality of Sealand: Idk why I like this. I shouldn't. But I do.

North Korea: I had this in its own category on my list orginally cuz what does one do with Yatta? But then I realized I actually like listening to this for reasons.

Portugal: I had this like pointless and a few farther down on first listen. Parts of the song I just liked enough to move it up!

Hungary: Kinda prettty

Spain: Not sure what it is but it's relatively cool!

I'd like to preface my top 10 with a photograph

Belarus - John Congleton and the Nighty Nite - Until it Goes: ...Yah! Promising opening to this one. Weirdly this reminds me of The Paper Chase from several contests ago. Actually a lot. Is this the same guy? Yep, sure enough. Well I like his work I guess. Just very creative. I know I've been giving too high of marks to songs in the contest, so in a normal contest this one might get a high seven but because of the inflation right now it gets an 8/10. I say mid 8/10.

Micronesia - Lewis Del Mar - Loudy: Why does this name sound so familiar? Is this guy like blowing up right now? Whatev. This track/production/vocal delivery is all working together very nicely. Yeah this is quite solid. 8/10. Uhm, durrrrrr, gahhhhhh, I'm gonna say mid 8/10.

Kugelmugel - Anderson Paak - The Season/Carry Me: Ha that unnecessary stylistic dot reminds me of Horsedick.mpeg from Sex Drive. Anyhoo. Liking the track, liking the delivery, liking the random weird vocalizations in the background a la Kendrick and TechN9ne. Liking the vocal choices. Aight. 8/10. Shit ok, I guess I was thinking of Miss March and not Sex Drive. I did not even remember that movie existed before now. But also this song is p. good (seewutididther) Mid 8/10.

India - Tino Contreras - En El Viejo Estambul: High hopes for this one just based on the fact that the picture says jazz. This is pretty good. Givin it an 8/10. Cool use of the yazz flute. OK yeah lots of instruments get their moments to shine here, drums, some kinda xylophone or bells or somethin...wish there was some more soloing I guess....ah well, still good. Mid 8/10.

Bhutan - Big KRIT - Praying Man: Dude looks like Tyreese from TWD. This is interesting. I like the track. Decent rapping. Might want to look up the lyrics for this one second time around, it seems like he's telling a story and that's usually cool. For now it's like a mid 7/10. OK yeah it's cool and stuff somethin somethin underground railroad didn't notice before he made himself sound out of breath like he was running that's cool I guess Low 8/10.

Uruguay - Health - We are Water: Well, it was certainly interesting. Thinking for now a high 7/10. I like how weird but not dumb this is. Low 8/10.

Iceland - Glen Hansard - Bird of Sorrow: This dude looks like Vincent Van Gogh. I like this guy's singing, mostly the rhythm of it. Those high notes later on are pretty impressive too actually, just the volume and quality. I like the buildup of this song. K. High 7/10. I appreciate this one. Probably moreso by comparison to other stuff in this contest that I am not liking so much. Because of the point inflation I am going to say low 8/10.

USA - NF - Intro: I will inevitably compare this guy to Eminem in my head because he is a white rapper dude wearing a hoodie. And he actually sounds a lot like Eminem too, just in some aspects of his vocal delivery. His flow is more like...Twista? Friggin...Busta? Idk. He's decent. I kinda feel like he's going for speed over creativity here, which is OK. The track is pretty interesting. It's very "big." Seems like somebody I'd wanted to check out more of. High 7/10. Yeah, high 7/10.

Portgual - Alexisonfire - No Transitory: Ha, these guys. Never figured out whether it was supposed to be "Alex is on fire" or "Alexis on fire." I know I've been told a million times, but I always forget. Anyway. This was pretty good. High 7/10. Oh hey I forgot this is where Dallas Green started. That's why the singing is good, because of Dallas Green. Still feelin a high 7/10.

Netherlands - Sleigh Bells - Comeback Kid: Was always interested in hearing more from these guys. I listened to stuff off their first album but then never kept up. So I'm glad they were submitted. Liking this. High 7/10. Briggle glag! High 7/10.
