If you'll be somewhere on the island tonight that's easily accessible by metro, I can meet you for supper (preferrably at seven-ish). Dunno if I can do anything afterwards, since I'm working tomorrow and have a ton of last-minute cleaning to do. What are people in the mood to eat? There are a bunch of touristy restaurants I can recommend. (I would also settle for not-Bad!Reuben's.)

Btw, non-comprehensive suggestions for restaurants we can go to, either tonight or the rest of the trip:

Juliette Et Chocolat - more desert-type foods and crêpes, but it's delicious if you want something sweet
Wienstein & Gavino's - good Italian food
St-Viateur Bagels - they have a bakery with bagels alone, but also locations with a sitdown restaurant in the Plateau area as well as in NDG
Poutineville - I've actually never been before, but the name is self-explanatory. (I had a bad experience the last time I went to La Banquise, so going with this instead to check off the poutine criteria.)
Cat cafes - there are multiple different ones, so we can go to whichever is closest. KITTIES! ^_^
O Noir - I always have trouble convincing people to go with me because 1) it's in the $30-40 price range, and 2) the concept scares some people, but I went once and thought it was an incredible experience. The restaurant is pitch-black, and you're served your meal by sight-impaired waiters. In theory, the lack of sight is supposed to heighten your sense of taste, but in practice the best part is attempting to find your mouth in the dark. When I went, it was with near-strangers, so it was a great icebreaker.
Aux Vivres - a vegan restaurant, so like hell will anyone agree to this, but worth a shot. :( The food is delicious, though.

If not-bad!Reubens doesn't work out, there are a ton of other smoked meat places (Schwartz's, Snowdon Deli, etc.)

Chinatown also has lots of restaurants. There are also so many sushi places there's no point in me listing them. :p

I disagree with everything on Mina's list except st-viateurs bagels because it's the only one I never been to on that list lol. Banquise is a lot better than poutineville IME

You're not only joining us for a single night are you Albert?

Wouldn't be interested in Poutine, Cat Cafe nor O Noir either but that's only because I don't enjoy poutine.

What do you people have against cat cafes? I thought they were completely noncontroversial.

Also, it's snowing!

TBH, I was overselling the snow storm just to scare the Southerners. It's only going to be bad east of Montreal, so you guys should be fine.

There's a LOT of snow, though.

Also, were we going out for supper again? Would that conflict with whatever time Gamma is coming in?
