Room escapes like you mentioned are around. We were meant to go to one in the last meet but due to...things we cancelled it. We could definitely do it for this meet and
this definitely makes me want to extend the time for this meet because the last one was 3 or so days and that wasn't enough to do much.
I know there are three different ones in the city.
There's a casino here that I know some people (Espe) wanted to go to. Crown Casino would be something I would go to to gamble a little bit, the gambling areas are 18+ but everywhere else in the casino isn't.
Games Lab/Alchemist's Refuge allows you to play any of their board games they have for a gold coin donation. That could be fun for boardgames we don't own and are too lazy or not worth it to buy just for this meet. Alchemist is just the bar portion of the building if you want alcohol while playing them.
Melbourne Aquarium is a thing if you want to pay an admission fee to go in and if you enjoy marine wildlife?
Can't really think of anything...Uhh...Arcanacon is in January and PAX Aus is in November so you're not in any real sort of gaming convention here. Pop culture ones are in like April and June so no luck there either. I have no other thing that's within Melbourne CBD at least!

There are a lot of night events if you don't mind missing some sleep. Room escapes are okay if you don't mind being chained to people you've never met before.
sleep isn't a thing at meets anyway. Or at least normal time sleeping.
