Escape the room

Just did this, it was much fun even though we didnt get out in time.

Has anyone else done this? I'll be honest I wasn't of much help to my group, I only solved some of the puzzles and wasted a lot of time, but it was worth the 25 dollars.

How many people did you have? Did you get out?

Uhhh 5 or 6 I think for the first one, and no we were about a minute late. But I blame that on a few physical mechanics that may not have worked properly.

Second one we did. Similar group size.

What was the story?

For us it was we were infiltrating a base in a former soviet state to try to stop this bomb from hitting our town and also Tazmania.

We failed because there was this one point when we got to the second room, and there was this laptop there with a scanner that said "SCAN THE ROOM" and we scanned and scanned to no avail.

Also a lamp flashing different colors that we kept messing up on.

Every time I found an article of clothing I would put it on. It was only mildly amusing.

First one was a brewery theme. Second one was a prison.

I know at least two groups did them during Chicagomeet at Fox in a Box.

The group I was in with Faraday, KittyMo, Gammagooey, and BipolarChemist was robbing a bank.

The second group was breaking out of a prison I think?

At Christmas I was kidnapped and forced to participate in one of these, there were 9 of us and each time we'd go in groups of 3, after each room we had to vote whether to ally with each other or betray, depending on what we chose we'd gain or lose points, we started with 3 points, if we fell to 0 points we were poisoned and killed, if we got to. 9 points we got to escape
