1. I've personally always found Heroes vs. Villains to be overrated as a lot of underwhelming characters go super far (Colby, Rupert, Danielle, Candice) and it's essentially a boring pagonging disguised by #BIGMOVES and idol plays. But it's obviously better than what's almost universally seen as the worst survivor season.

2. Samoa could have been a great season if the editors weren't busy sucking Russell's dick, but Marquesas had great characters that go unmentioned in modern Survivor (#BringBackJohn/Neleh/Sean/ZoeZanidakis) and it was the first season to have the minority tribe
such as in Cook Islands
flip the majority on its head, so,

3. I'm probably gonna have a lot to say about Cambodia later on, but all that needs to be said now is that Caramoan is complete shit.

4. I feel that Africa is a really underrated season, and if it were up against Heroes vs. Villains I'd be trying to make a case for it, as crazy as that sounds. Frank, Tom, Lex, T-Bird, and Clarence are all hilarious post-merge characters, and even though the game essentially becomes a pagonging, it's a constant power struggle brewing between Ethan, Tom, and Lex as they dance around the line of going against each other, constantly trying to take out each others' numbers for down the road. Also it contains the downfall of Silas Gaither, one of the best oldschool storylines. Africa's pre-merge is easily better than Amazon's pre-merge in my opinion, which is filled with repeated storylines of the men being idiots. Which is funny, but predictable. The pre-merge does contain my personal favorite challenge in the mixer, which leads to a lot of great one-liners and Dan asking Heidi for shampoo when Rob already asked her the same thing and she said no, as well as JoAnna Ward, the utterly amazing trainwreck of a human being that didn't want Jaburu to keep the immunity idol in their camp because it was sacrilegious. However, the post-merge of Amazon is a constant back-and-forth with Rob flipping the game on its head every 3 days, and that half of the season holds up exceptionally well even today. You also have Heidi, aka Morgan McLeod 1.0, who it's a tragedy the show has never brought back. So as much as I love the cast of Africa more as a whole, I'm gonna have to
