Really?

It was boring as shit until the 4th quarter.

Falcons just shit on the Patriots until they decided to choke it away. Seriously, Pats played like garbage until the Falcons decided the game was apparently over.

No way, things really started picking up 2nd half of that 2nd quarter, and it just exploded from there. They both played great after.

I don't think so

If the Falcons hadn't choked it all away in the 4th quarter, this was easily going to be in the same rank as Super Bowl XLV. Packers shat on the Steelers throughout the majority of the game, then the Steelers mounted a comeback, then they got robbed by a late-game fumble and fuck-up.

If the Falcons had run the ball instead of passed it with 4 minutes remaining, LI would've been classified on that level. It wasn't a good game, it was a good comeback. There's a difference.

idk dude you do you but I found that game amazing with a ton of great plays and good play. It was a really close game and really kept me tense entire way throughout. Falcons kind of fucked off, but they were doing good. Patriot's defense is just top notch and really started getting into it second half with the offense.

Everyone always thinks the current year superbowl is the best, and it probably isn't.

I definitely feel like the Falcons threw it away and I knew the Pats were coming back to win the moment they got the ball back 8 points down.

It wasn't boring. The end result just wasn't what I was hoping for.

Rams/Titans was still my favorite Super Bowl

I feel I would have enjoyed the game more if I liked the pats. Wraith is right about Atlanta shitting it away. They should have ran it and got a chip shot field goal. Some Falcon guy in booth should have told Quinn not to challenge the edelman catch. Quinn threw flag on reflex and should have asked before he did that. Every replay showed it was a catch. Should have got touch back in final minute. Touchback and timeout could have given flacons a final drive with clearer heads. 3rd quarter was only boring part, I actually like it when defense does good like they did at the start of the game. My favorite superbowl still NYG > NE in 2007 season.

It was an awesome game.

I don't know why Brady keeps getting the MVPs, though.
Edelman deserved it this time - if only for that amazing catch on the 4th quarter, alone.

I personally think James White deserved MVP. Brady passed a lot of yards, but mostly to White who had Over 100 receiving yards. White had 3 TDS and a two point conversion. QB may be most important position but White out scored Brady and got more receiving yards than any other player last night

Yeah. I'd also be OK with a White MVP.

Brady's not bad. He's damn good. I won't even say he's overrated, although many believe that. He's just deserving of the title from the game.

(I'm also a New Englander, if that means anything.)

The Edelman catch occurred with barely over 2 minutes left in the 4th quarter. Even if you don't think there's much of a chance the play gets overturned, you have nothing to lose by challenging it, as all future plays would be challenged by the replay booth. Also it gave the Falcons defense another brief opportunity to rest (not that it helped any).

Yes. Saw the same thing with a Packers win once. It makes any sports moment with a walk off situation and celebration better.

Even Brady is saying White should be MVP
Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Brady would say that if he was 30/30 for 750 yards and 12 TDs. It's just how he chooses to speak to the media.
