Ok, I'm not a doctor or pharmacist, but it's affecting the same neurotransmitter alcohol does, and this is an inhibitor, it slows signals coming through. Now alcohol isn't as specific, but the relaxing effects, slower reflexes, less thoughts should be similar?

okay, I have to take a benzo whenever I get an injection/shot due to phobic reaction. It takes about 30-40 minutes to start to kick, and about 50-60 for you to get full effects, lasts about 4-5ish hours. Things that I have observed with my very infrequent use:
1) memory loss/blackout. I once went to the doctors got some blood drawn and honestly do not remember making the 20 minute walk back to my place (scary!)
2) u get drowsy af. Wouldn't recommend driving.
3) 3 drink limit. Or make sure you keep track of how much booze you ingest. You can die. One of my friends almost did. You also get a lot more drunk and A LOT LESS INHIBITED (you lose your internal "filter" you might say shit or do shit you wouldn't normally do with the same amount of booze).
4) loss of motor control. Feel floaty, a bit clumsy.

About the effects proper:
For me I am actually able to get an injection. Like, I still see it and I know I'm afraid of it, but I don't feel any existential terror. Emotional feelings are muted.
Generally speaking when taken I don't worry about shit at all. You are just content and tranquil.

yeah, it is very subtle. I only notice the real effects of it when presented with a situation where I would have a phobic reaction.

Some people don't feel shit. Others like it a lot. If you have anxiety it works fucking wonders. I literally lose my " give a fuck " receptors.

Combine it with weed or sumn. Alcoho and downersl is dangerous but stick to low dose and a beer or two use your head and you'll be fine
