Can anyone recommend a type of candy that isn't too hard or too chewy or too sticky? Something like the exact opposite of Jolly Ranchers. I just had a temporary crown put in, but I don't want to miss out on my right to eat the candy that's left over after all the trick-or-treaters get theirs.

Reese's Cups are a great answer to not-too-chewy/sticky/crunchy.
Also, just plain Hershey's bars are fine, too. Bonus points if you like dark chocolate and get the medley. Just give away all the Mr. Goodbars & Crunch ones to Trick-or-Treaters, and you're home free.-
