I probably should mention that I'm interviewing for a job tuesday of which I am one of ~5-6 people. If I get it, it's possible that they might take issue with my going away for that long, but I'll do what's in my power to go if it comes to it
I'll give you a moment to let that sink in

It's a shame I don't know more people going, as I'll definitely be in the area for the time.

It's been the same crowd almost every meet for me, so I'm excited to meet some new people. Haven't played much mafia in the last 1-2 years, so I don't know all the newer folks.

Is there an occupancy limit as well as a residency limit? I might invite some of my psychiatry colleague to hang out during the day for a day or so depending upon what the vibe is like.

I can bart to pleasanton and bus there, but it would be very convenient and money saving if I could bum a ride from someone in Oakland which is where I live? So this is a semi-request, take it as lowest priority over others who need rides

Ok, I likely have an event on the 16th, so I will likely drive down on the 14th, leave on the 15th and drive back down on the 17th. Not locked in though.

Okay I have a few ground rules from the owner:

1) No more than 10 there at nights. A few extra can be there in the day but stay within reason.
2) No parties. So if people are going to drink, do so in moderation and don't annoy the neighbors.
3) No smoking. This is the rule they are most concerned over. If you are a smoker you have to leave the house and not stand outside by the door to do such.

1.)
So what all should people bring? (Blankets? Pillows? I don't really know what to expect here).
2.)
For those of us paying for the AirBNB, where should we send payment?
3.)
Am I going to need cash on hand, or will a credit / debit card suffice? (For example: do I need cash for the BART, or other services?)

Thanks!

For bart, card will suffice. If you plan on taking any buses, have cash.
Blankets, pillows and personal toiletries are probably a good idea.

1) If you want to bring extra blankets/pillows I would go ahead. There will be some available, but feel free to take some along. If people are flying and it doesn't fit well packing wise, you don't need to. I can bring extras as well.
2) I will set up some venmo type thing soon. If people would rather pay cash for any reason, that would be fine.

Also i can potentially carpool/drive people around who need to commute, I am staying in Pittsburgh during the meet.

Also where is address for this place?

Are you sick of surveys yet? This is the last one to decide on activities and food for the meet! Your input would be greatly appreciated.

>>> Click here! <<<

Here's some potential activities that are listed in the survey:
  • Arcade
    - There's either a mysterious arcade somewhere in Pleasanton or one at the Lost Worlds Adventures in Livermore ~15 miles away, which also has laser tag and mini golf.
  • Board games
    - Some people are bringing board games. If you want something specific, then PM the person who is bringing it to ensure it comes to the meet, too.
  • Escape room
    - Limitless Escape Games in Livermore is $30 per person, $216 for a private room of eight, or $270 for a private room of 10. If there's large enough interest, then we'll arrange a larger booking with the group beforehand.
  • Hiking
    - Shadow Cliffs Regional Recreation Area has some trails here, as well as some other activities, including boating and kayaking rentals, fishing, and swimming.
  • Laser tag
    - Five miles away from the Airbnb. $5 on Monday and Wednesday. Otherwise, $4 for laser maze and $10 for laser tag. Alternatively, see "arcade".
  • Mafia
    - Friends don't let friends play Mafia. That said, someone needs to bring the mafiascum.net deck if they don't want to play with a
    weird
    deck.
  • Movies
    - Because what better activity to do than to watch and snark about movies with people you met on the Internet?
  • Museums
    - Museum on Main has free admission.
  • Video games
    - LlamaFluff plans on bringing Xbox One and Wii U. caledfwitch and a few other meet attendees have the Jackbox Party Packs for PC.
  • Wine tasting
    - Cellar Door is within walking distance. Wineries are within driving distance.
Unfortunately, a quick Google search revealed no karaoke spots near the Airbnb. If you have other ideas, then please suggest them!

There's also the California State Fair happening in Sacramento during the meet. This isn't in the survey, but we can rent a car or something and drive the 100 miles north for a day trip if there's enough people who want to go.

Escape Room, Laser Tag, Hiking all sound great.
I watch too many movies at home already. Unless we can shout and snark very loudly about the movie. Is there like a dollar theater nearby?

Hey, I'll just put myself down as owning a deck that's in the back of my Prius. I also have various boardgames back there. If someone doesn't have something spoken for, feel free to PM me. If I have it, I'll bring it. :)

I can't really answer the survey though. I'll be playing it more by ear.

Thanks, caledfwitch! Karaoke is now an option in the survey. Amador Karaoke is $7 per person Sundays through Thursdays, and there are various rates depending occupancy for Heartbeat KTV here.
