Hey if you liked my song even a little you should probably listen something else from Halsey. I really don't think Gasoline was the best choice for introducing someone to the album but I also didnt want to enter the music video version of the song I should have entered.

I'd check out Ghost or Drive probably if you kinda liked it. Ghost is the song that made Halsey popular.

If you liked it then the album is great. Its been my go to pop album for like a year now.

I guess I should have figured my song would have been more disliked (Smells Like Teen Spirit, Equatorial Guinea)

I still think it's awesome, then again I wasn't alive when it was popular so I didn't overhear it.

Song reviews:

CAR - yeah, it was ok, which got it points from me.
Hungary - Literally totally forgot about this song. Telling when that gets second place
Syria - This song was really interesting, kinda want to revisit it. Glad it got so high.
Micronesia - BOOOOOORIIIIIIING
Spain - Fun enough
Uruguay - Minus the drumming and you get an extremely average indie rock song
Fiji - I don't know????
Philipines - Pretty fun pop tune, not usually my style but i def liked it
Hong Kong - but it's the current year!
Chad - stop. just stop (also this was apparently one of the better ones)
Albania - I remember liking this one, but I don't know why. Probably because it reminded me of ameno.
Mali - It was fine?
Kugelmugel - OH COME ON, in 101 you submitted like, literally one of the best songs ever, that introduced me to a great band, and this - well, it isn't terrible, i guess i just have higher standards for ya
Thailand - It was ok?
Liechtenstein - Funny and stupid, but at least it was memorable
Canada - Literally no opinion on this song, when determining ranks I used this as the barrier between good and bad songs with this sitting right in the middle.
Burkina Faso - this just makes me want to watch napoleon dynamite
Ecuador - normal indie rock, but good for that category. local portlandites, gotta give that some props
Macedonia - hmm
Iceland - some sort of black metal I think. I had it in the background while i was busy on something
afghanistan - really forgettable edm that belongs back in 2012
denmark - forgettable but not cancerous trap, zero opinion
equatorial guinea - i don't care what anyone thinks, i haven't gotten tired of it and this is still a fucking banger and i'll crank it at 3am anytime
latvia - this was some sort of industrial emo thing I think? it was ok
finland - korean boy band? better than expected.
cote d'ivorie - really strikes me the wrong way, idk how to explain it.

Anyway, that's my brief cynical thoughts on the series. Also, whoever is kugelmugel thank you again for introducing... the roots!
