How to save pictures before switching phones

I need a new phone, but I have roughly 1,000 pictures I don't want to lose, including baby pictures of my kids. I'd like them as prints, but would settle for something else. I tried shutterfly, but apparently my phone is too old for them to work with. It's also worth noting that I don't have a computer, so emailing them to myself, even ignoring how long that would take, is only a temporary fix.

I also recovered about 600 pictures from an old phone (2008-2010). Can I do anything other than just saving the memory card?

Another phone (2010-2012), the screen doesn't work but I'm sure there are a lot of pictures there. The memory card doesn't fit in any of my working phones.

Thanks in advance.

Icloud did the same thing as shutterfly

Google photos won't download because I don't have enough space for it.
