Young players with big wages and lacking maturity will always find a way to derail their careers. Doesn't matter where it is sadly. Don't think being in Vegas is going to cause that many problems in that regard, especially when they can afford to fly wherever they want at a drop of a hat and do whatever they want anyway. I'd think the team would be employing a bunch of people to make sure the team is behaving, and maybe even working with the casinos etc to keep an eye on things.

I would be more worried about that in places where it's illegal

That and the guy who's announced plans to set up a Raider-themed brothel...
David Carr's arm doesn't affect the Raiders though
Fine, Derek Carr, the point still stands.
In 2017, though, what honestly prevents this from already being an issue?
It doesn't, but it's a bigger risk in Vegas because of availability and legality. It's one thing to get involved with illegal gambling - when just associating with people involved with it could potentially end your NFL career - and quite another to get involved in legal gambling in a place where like half the population works in a gambling related field. After all, if the league can convict Tom Brady of deflating footballs without actual evidence that balls were improperly deflated or evidence of an actual conspiracy to commit the act, they can decide a player probably sold out information based on little more than association.

Oh please Stevie Wonder could see that Brady and the Patriots were guilty. False equivalency.

Also, and I know this is baseball, but lets put Rose in the hall of fame plox.

Alright, let's use our imaginations. If you had a super model wife and were on the road consistently, and couldn't see her, and anything on that phone pertaining to her on your phone could be sold to media outlets(because she is both more famous and wealthy than you are), would you give an organization who is plagued with "leaks" your cell phone? I'd fucking put that thing in a box in the bottom of the ocean where the only way you could get it is if you were motherfucking Jacques Cousteau.

Lol.

You've got to make it believable though.

I told my wife (lions fan) that the following three way trade happened:
Lions get - Tony Romo, Cowboys 1st rd pick, Jets 1st rd pick
Jets get - Matt Stafford
Cowboys get - four draft picks.

lol. Which 4 picks did you tell her the cowboys are getting? Detroit's 1st pick and what else? If you don't have a good answer for this, your ruse will fall flat. Also doesn't she post on the forum?

BTW in case you one line before the game, who you think gonna win NCAA championship tonight? I placed a bet on Gonzaga at start of tourney. Who you betting on?

I wasn't specific except to say that two picks came from the lions and two from the jets. She only has the account to sign up for fantasy football every year. she's not active on the site or anything.
