Grizzly Bear and Weezer  :P

You need some Fiona Apple too! Maybe some James Blake as well.

I almost added Fiona Apple to this list. I like her a lot. :]
You've should've put her over Grizzly Bear. Are you ready for the new Feist album?! :)
You're probably right about that. And yes! We can talk about it after it comes out. :]
Deal :)

I forgot to put blue album on my list =(.

James Blake is dope. I should probably re-listen to overgrown or give the colour in anything a first listen....

i feel like overgrown is more focused but colour in anything has a wider array of sounds and is generally more interesting

I liked his overall song composure a lot, but his performance was not so great. He's got a thin voice and I didn't find him rapping anywhere. Lyrics are also pretty repetitive.
Lauryn had pipes and flow and cadence and big words
that rhymed (really what's with rappers not rhyming anymore? idgi)

I couldn't tell if that was bad singing or really slow rapping
it sounded like his singing on Am I Wrong so I went for singing

Blake won't ever top his debut but I still have so much love for The Colour in Anything. It's his most soulful work to date. His vocals have always been wonderful and he is so fragile when he hits the falsetto. There is so much emotion in his voice, and his lyrics are always simple and ambiguous so you get to interpret this beauty yourself.

:b:ost man

i wanna see how your tastes like

lately i've listened to....

yeezus - was pretty good. best parts are samples. lyrics are kinda shit.

olivia tremor control - good interesting band. foliage is just really weird and really nice, and dusk at cubist castle feels like a great ol psych rock record.

animal collective - i listened to stg, stv, sung tongs, strawberry jam, and feels. strawberry jam was my favorite, but i just cant really get into this band sorry

MBDTF is one of the best albums ever made, sorry that you have bad taste.

I do think Yeezus isn't as great as a lot of people make it out to be.
