If a mod closes and removes my thread, please tell me why?

I made a thread about 20 min ago as a channel to create open communication between the forum mods and the player community, however it seems like a rogue mod closed and moved my thread to the mafia nether-region as I am no longer able to view my thread and it does not appear in my history.

No harm, no foul, no worries. Just let me know why the thread was closed and moved. Is it against the rules of the forum to talk about bans? What is the point of general discussion then? Are we only supposed to talk about trivial, harmless topics like our favorite pop song or which US president was better between Taft or Eisenhower?

But venture too far into meta discussions about actual players and site administration and you win the coveted 'go to jail card'? Do not pass go, do not collect 200 dollars? IS that correct?

I did not read the prior thread but I feel like ironstove should have the right to some mod transparency on this issue.

Right, well if a mod won't respond back to this because there was no reason to remove the thread, then can someone please put the thread back into the GD forum? Thanks!
