Anyone else suffer from them?

I had one start just after midnight, took the medicine I have but still have a bad headache and can't sleep.

I think I would legitimately contemplate offing myself if I had to go through migraines on any sort of regular basis. God speed to both you.

I used to get retinal migraines, which aren't painful but can be quite inconvenient

had them since i was 13. triggers for me are usually excessive visual stimulation + smells (malls are a fucking NIGHTMARE for me)

i take excedrin and it works every time for me. i tried sumatriptan when i was a teenager bc i wasn't supposed to be taking aspirin but it didn't work and all it did was give me a bad taste in my mouth.

I have Sumatriptan. It works to some extent, Toon it last night with an Aleve and it took most of the pain away but I still slept most of the day under a dark blanket.

Chai is sometimes a trigger for me, but not always. It seems like the usual progression is either a stress headache or a sinus headache morphing into a migraine. I've been prescribed Sumatriptan and Zolmitriptan at different times. Both work. Zolmitriptan is like a ton of bricks. I usually slept for 18-20 hours. Sumatriptan is a lot easier on the rest of me.
Amid the pressure of great events, a general principle gives no help.

I get mild migraines semi-regularly and occasionally really bad ones where I can't do anything except lie in bed in complete darkness for hours.

I've found Dark Reader to be a helpful tool sometimes when things aren't completely terrible.

Thanks for that.

I pulled that up for firefox, messing with the layout and colors now.

I have extreme chemical sensitivity and will likely get a migraine for hours on end if I get too much of a whiff of:

cigarette smoke, perfume/cologne, fabric softener, most shampoos, conditioners, body lotions, hair gels, cleaning supplies, etc. etc. etc...

It's pretty horrible and has gotten worse over the years (which I just figure is do to the ever increasing ppb in the air, as well as how they're being made changes too just adding to the increasing amount of chemical crap everywhere.)

I pretty much avoid public places as much as possible.
