stealing BYF's format because I like it the best, thanks BYF.
Although one day I wanna try a whole-song commentary, Paramenduso/Toolerama style but I never have the time.

Lesotho	Fantastic Negrito - Working Poor	I really like it, but maybe it's just the punchy instrumentals. On second thought, it's really everything, the voice diversity, little touches of that really warm piano sound, all that. Awesome song? Dang! That instrumentation really moves around, but not too much as to be distracting. Probably gets my 12. (UPDATE: It gets my 12. I'm saving this song, heck yes.)
Uruguay	Hudson Taylor - Care	Normally a song like this is nothing to write home about, but I'm a bit of a sucker for harmonies like that-- increasing intervals on the same scale (one guy stays on the one note, other guy floats around on the melody, seconds, thirds, fourths, thirds, seconds). Simple but still gets me all the time.
Spain	Shugo Tokumaru - Katachi	I'm a big fan of the backing, and I think really everyone who likes this song probably likes it for that.
Iceland	The Dear Hunter - Red Hands	I'm pretty critical of songs at this length that don't explore much beyond conventional song structure but overall this kept me semi-interested for the whole thing, which is impressive. I guess they just got a good sound.
India	Jaga Jazzist - Lithuania	It was unnecessarily long and really only shone in a few places, but still good. Missed a good opportunity to choose a different country though.
Micronesia	Grayson Erhard - Tapestry	The guitar is nifty and really well done, and creates a nice sound, but is it nice enough to make up for what is otherwise a pretty mediocre song? Well, almost.
CAR	King Crimson - Thela Hun Ginjeet	The opening was interesting, the tone of the higher notes played by the lead really stick out which causes some cool syncopation. I think it's in the nature of these songs to get a little bit repetitive, and this one really, really does. Even though it doesn't really build, it moves at least sort of decently, so it'll get some points.
Hong Kong	Lindsey Stirling Ft. Lizzy Hale - Shatter Me	She's great, and the voice is great too, but overall the song is just okay.
DPotC	Guster - Airport Song	Only glanced at the vid a couple times, but they looked like they were having fun. The song wasn't too engaging, but I was pleasantly surprised by the bongos, that's a nice sound.
Taiwan	The Roots - Mellow My Man	I'm tired so you don't get a writeup :<

Democratic Republic of the Congo - It's cool. I like the drumming and the overall mood.
Central African Republic - I'm not feeling this.
Slovenia - Oh, it's a cover... Disappointed.
Spain - It's nice enough. It has some sounds I usually dislike, but it has some interesting ones too and it just works.
USA - Sounds like every other k-pop boyband song I've heard in the SC. I must confess though, I've missed these videos.
Iceland - Meh. Kinda generic rock song with uninteresting vocals.
Iran - This is nice. It just is.
Fiji - I remember these guys. They make nice catchy songs.
Uruguay - Meh. It's ok. Sounds better on a second listen, still, ehh; it's simple.
Federated States of Micronesia - It's nice for an acoustic guitar song. It's more impressive than nice sounding.
India - So long. Nice background music, but nice nonetheless.
Lesotho - Hmmm. Ok. Just not a fan of this style of song.
Vietnam - Meh. I like my indie rock-pop less energetic. But at least it's not Two Door Cinema Club.
Republic of Kugelmugel - Another long instrumental. I'm not into this.
Taiwan - Hummm. Next.
Ecuador - Uhhhh... ok?
Latvia - I want to nope this so hard, but that beat...
Greece - This is weird. Cool weird.
Philippines - It's nice enough.
Bhutan - Blah, annoying.
New Zealand - This is cool.
Papua New Guinea - Meh, piano.
Italy - Meh. Generic rock. There's just nothing interesting about this.
Hong Kong - So cringe. Nope.

Congo - started off blah, got better towards the end - mid points maybe
CAR - well, it's KC so expecting to give high points almost by default - a song I haven't heard before but awesome as expected. could be my 12
Slovenia - ok cover of the U2 song - maybe points
Spain - nice - high points
USA - surprisingly alright - maybe even points!
Iceland - such a bummer after that fun song, not workng for me at all
Iran - this is the only fleet foxes album I liked. after this it got too samey and annoyingly syrupy for me. but this is still a good song, so points.
Fiji - not bad, not good a bit boring after a bit
Uruguay - no
Micronesia - eh, impresssive but not interesting
Lesotho - I like this a lot
Vietnam - could this be more hipster? Please end already
Burkina Faso - quite interesting and it's growing on me on second listen
Kugelmugel - parts of it were interesting, but it was way too long and mostly blah

Democratic Republic of the Congo - I completely stopped enjoying this when it got louder.

Central African Republic - I completely stopped enjoying this when it started.

Slovenia - I like this.

Spain - Some people like this kind of music and I am not one of those people.

USA - This song will always get my last place vote, sorry.

Iceland - I liked this and you didn't submit an 11 minute song for once. I give it at least one and a half thumbs up.

Iran - The longer this went on, the less I enjoyed listening to it.

Fiji - I was secretly hoping someone would submit Goose House. Song choice was disappointing to me though.

Uruguay - I wasn't expecting to like this when it started, but it grew on me as it went on.

Federated States of Micronesia - I didn't

this, but in a lot of parts it just sounded like a lot of sounds for no reason.

India - Decent but elevator jazz. The increase in intensity did not work.

Lesotho - Meh.

Vietnam - Had potential. Got boring fast.

Burkina Faso - There were things to like about this song, but they were overshadowed by the fact that this song was boring and sucked.

Republic of Kugelmugel - I started out enjoying this, but nearly every song in this style gets boring to me by the 3rd or 4th minute and this one is 10 minutes long. It still manages to have its moments, but doesn't manage to feel worth it.

Taiwan - I just do not like this sound. The song itself is pretty good as far as this type of song goes, but no.

Ecuador - This is generic enough to make me feel bad about liking it, but I do like it.

Latvia - This was surprisingly decent for a song that seems to have made it a goal to fill as much space and time as possible with unpleasant sounds.

Greece - I'm not even really sure what this song was going for. Ew.

Philippines - My opinion of this song varied between "I don't like this song" and "I actively dislike this song".

Bhutan - I'm a bit meh on songs like this in general and Nate's voice really doesn't work with it.

New Zealand - This would easily be my last place in this contest if Fire hadn't been submitted.

Papua New Guinea - I like this, but it's a bit of a shame you submitted something with no vocals. Phildel has a really nice voice.

Italy - The singing and the instruments don't sound like they're a part of the same song.

Hong Kong - Eh. Lindsey Stirling is never really not good but I wish you'd chosen mostly anything else by her.

I was at woodstock '99 - didn't watch much at the west stage though, mostly was parked at east stage, so didn't see guster, not that I cared much

I liked the songs more in general in this contest, I guess that's not tooo surprising given its nature
