True but I watched it too. If you remember the game well, 2 were basically on him. 2 were deflections: one by his receiver who tipped it up and one a really good o-line tip into another guy making a diving catch on the tip. Then there was one where his receiver and the db both had a hold on it but the db won the possession. I feel like the stats from that game were inflated. It's the same as Rosier last night who has 3 INTs on his stat sheet but, in reality, he played quite well and was arguably underutilized with all the wildcats that Miami ended up running.
Yeah, but I mean that doesn't make him trash lol. He's really good. Every QB makes mistakes like that in college. That's why college is college. Even football legends give it the old college try. His other games not against a great Utah team displayed what he was capable of.
Rams have changed a lot between last season and this season, especially that offensive front. That's made all the difference for Goff because he's never had anything like that since high school. Damn do I love finally seeing Gurley destroy dreams again.

like bama LUL.
-create playoff to give teams like UCF(as the current example naturally) a chance. first chance a team like that pops up completely dick them over.

just fucking rofl.
yeah. I hope they expand it to 8 teams. The rules for what qualifies as playoff worthy are too inconsistent.
8 teams would be better, but UCF wouldn't have made it this year if there were 8 spots either
the college football system is always going to be hugely flawed unless there's a major overhaul
On the flip side, don't know how many of you actively watch college games but that Georgia game is the reason I love this sport. Man, that was an incredible game. I still can't believe that happened off of Goggles' 55yd field goal. I had given up hope in the first half but the second half was a completely different defensive team.
Sort of doesn't cut it. There is a history of teams from minor conferences with perfect records losing when they go against good competition. How many national championships has Boise State won?

It seems it would make more sense to do championship rankings after bowl games when teams from lesser divisions would have had some chance of going against upper divisions. Also, I don't think they should have a finite number of contenders each year. If your threshold is 4 teams, people will always argue about 5 and 6, if its 8 then 9 and 10 should have gotten in. Just have some sort of point based voting. Whoever gets over a point threshold or % of point theshold gets in up to 8 teams and figure out brackets after the fact.
