Favourite Foreign Sweets?

Post Post #0 (ISO) » Sun Sep 17, 2017 10:17 am

Simple enough. What's your favourite sweet you've had which you don't really get in your country?

My favourite is the French sweet Carambars - the different flavours are basically very nice Maoam sticks but the original caramel flavour is absolutely delicious, with hints of cocoa and chewiness and just a nice full flavour. Also, each sweet's wrapper has a bad French pun in so even better!

Do things that are from your country yet are far from your location count?

The sweets from Narvesen kiosks. Fucking ridiculously good. Quality is just so much better.

Swedish sweets and soft drink were inferior in every single way.

I actually like both
I enjoy savory dishes with sweet notes in them
and my favorite desserts either have salty elements or sour elements (yes I know sour doesn't make it savory, but my brain wanted to make a neat logical construct out of a non-conforming reality so that's what we're left with)

Amid the pressure of great events, a general principle gives no help.

Stroopwafel. If I were still a teenager I would likely eat 10-12 in a single sitting.

Also, what is NM doing? Worst play I’ve ever seen.
I can't remember the last N_M post that wasn't bland, unimaginative and lame. Some shitposters are at least somewhat funny. You are the epitomy of the type of poster that nobody would miss if you were to suddenly disappear. You never add anything of value.
I'm guessing you haven't read the game and probably never will? Why even sign up to play?

Yes.
I thought by sweets we were talking candies etc.
If 'baked goods' count I'd take just about anything in a German bakery esp. quarktasche and mohnschnecke. I've considered traveling to North Germany just to try the fabled quarkschnecke that is only made by bakery in Germany according to my google skills
