yw, I checked out her EP and wasn't much a fan of the other tracks for the most part but drive you mad is excellent stuff

North Korea (Losing Myself): okay
Western Sahara (bekki on pills): Parama has never been more wrong about a song. cancer commercial? are we even listening the same thing
Iceland (Drive You Mad): good but i just sort of sat there
Ecuador (Die Young): instrumentals were cool but lost their lustre quickly
USA (Umbrella's High): My ears perked up during the first 4 seconds. I like that sound a lot. Then I got tired of it

Central African Republic (Bim Bim Bim): It was pretty fun so I guess you can get some points for that?

I guess my top 10 will look pretty random. Last contest I had a clear top 5, this one I have no clear top.

Venezuela - I don't care about this song or genre, but it's one of those songs that gets me to shyly dance in my seat when it comes up in the bar I go to with my friends.
Slovenia - No. Please end soon.
USA - Some ponies trying to be metal.
Central African Republic - Stand up musicomedy? Errr...
North Korea - I like that there's a little more to it than just generic rock. But it still suffers from too much singing/lyrics and annoying vocals.
Vietnam - This is pretty good. I had to re-listen.
Greece - It's nice enough.
Iceland - It's ok, catchy.
Gabon - Umm, Ok.
India - Nice.
Sweden - No.
Ecuador - It's nice enough.
Wales - Really nice.
Chad - Nope. Those vocals are an instant turn off, I'd rather he screamed through the whole song.
Latvia - I'm sorry, but this is horrible. All of it.
Mexico - This is so 90's. It's ok.
Western Sahara - Hm. Ok.
Bhutan - A little too much.


Not a bad contest, I like how even with a smaller pool there was diversity in genres, and more pop/alt than usual. It really is a shame we didn't get a full contest.

I was surprised how some songs stood out on a second listen, it wasn't easy sorting the middle points section. I also realized I like Enrique Iglesias more than I'd like to admit.

Gabon – That was really catchy, surprising taker of my 12
North Korea- The beginning of that was really good (before vocals), still good after
Mexico – I used to like this song so much
Sweden - good
Greece – kind of reminds me of another group, kinda sort of
Vietnam – it seems I actually kind of like this
Chad – some of this was good
Bhutan – some of this was good also
India – neutrally ok
Burkina Faso- started off ok, then less ok
Western Sahara – no real comment I suppose
CAR – somehow better than the 3 I listened to already
USA – boring
Iceland – No offense, that is maybe the worst artist photo ever submitted in a song contest….err wait no that isn’t it. Vocals not my fave, artist picture obv not as bad as mine

hey, I've actually at least heard some cruxshadows!

everlast - what it's like - very good, it was super popular in the late 90s not something I'd think to share, but it gets my 12 probably because it's such a good song and well, that's what the contest is about

parama's review made me picture something like rubber johnny except that the kid doesn't jump around but distorts his face to produce the drawn-out vocals

after the song the screen blurs and the donation information appears in an overlay but all of the words fall off the screen
