It's strange how things like lions, tigers, cats, dogs and so on are the first things taught to people yet how often do animals come up in day to day conversations?

I have never tried duolingo, but Rosetta Stone has helped me a bit. I've done most of my language learning through immersion, but not everyone will find themselves living in Germany or France for a year or two for work reasons, so I know my experience doesn't transfer to others.

Switched from a different language-learning program to duolingo now that they have Chinese. Breezing through the early lessons because I've already done most of these words on my old app but hoping it will be good for me!

Picked this back up since it's October and that's what I do in this month. Starting on French.

but sometimes if you play the game at 6:66 p.m., a phone will appear and ring and if you answer, it'll be BRINE HERO
