if bradford is healthy hes not losing out to a shitto like rosen. hell rosen is gonna be behind glennon as well. people are going to be angry bout that in zona early on.

but yeah rosens first hurdle is being better than glennon and winning a backup position.

his middle name is very interesting.

If you think Rosen is bad, then every QB in this draft is going to be a bust.

Rosen was a top draft pick. He is the favorite to start.

like lol they pay $20 mill for Bradford to ride the bench. I guess urs possible that they thought they wouldn't get a starting QB in the first round. I think they'll give Bradford a chance to play.

It will take a lot for the cardinals to want to not play Bradford given what they spent. Rosen will need to blow him out of the water early or Bradford will need to suck or get hurt. As Bradford has been pretty good when not injured I don't think Rosen will get the job on skill alone. But since Bradford is made of glass and could get hurt in preseason, I feel its pretty safe to say, Rosen will start when Bradford gets hurt.

If for some reason, Cardinals start Glenon over Rosen mid way through a losing season, then its safe to say Rosen is a bust. And I am not saying this to shame Glenon. I think he is descent, but if you are choosing descent over your future franchise qb, you done messed up. And I currently have no reason to believe the Cardinals messed up in that way

I don't know why they can't return to the old system where the players weren't on the field during the national anthem
it would really solve all the problems
but apparently they need to demonstrate that they own the players

In our white supremacist society even the most mild form of protest against the racial hierarchy has to be silenced as soon as possible. If black protesters march peacefully, they're sprayed with fire hoses; if they block traffic, they're disparaged by the public; if they stage a sit-in, they're arrested; if they make a purely symbolic public gesture, they're banned from doing so by their employer. The form of the protest doesn't matter - the objection is against the existence of the protest at all. If black people have a problem with the racial hierarchy in this country, they shouldn't air any grievance publicly in any way, shape, or form, but should instead stay in a dark room where they can't be seen or heard at all. That's the only "legitimate" form of protest for a racial underclass - silence and conformity.

Personally, I hope the protesters start doing this instead:

I think calling society a "white supremesist society" is an oversimplification. Society has made a lot of progress in race relations the past 60 years. Using sports as a platform for social change is one thing, but just because fans don't want to be reminded of racial injustice everytime they sit down to enjoy a game doesn't make them racist. Moreover, Black Lives Matter's egotism and lack of support for any other racial minority doesn't make it seem like they want change for society, just change for themselves, which is fine, but I don't think most of society is interested in social warfare at this point in history.

Because the NFL has a partnership with the Department of Defense to show maximum patriotism in exchange for millions of dollars of grants.

Holy shit, a significant number of star players intend to sit out the season until the blacklisting of players like Kaepernick and Reid are lifted.

That's dumb, NFL teams shouldn't be punished for not wanting to alienate fans.

Also, maybe the players should have been consulted before these decisions were made by the NFL.

Also, the NFL should maybe be ON the side of 70%ish of their players.

Hate to break it to you, but the protest are way bigger deal than the sport. NFL's product is horrifically low quality tbh.

Oh no, it's almost as if literally everything is actually political.

Maybe the players should find a forum to voice their social concerns where their jobs aren't at stake.

So if it was white people, talking about white problems, I assume you'd take the same stance of telling people not to spread their message to millions of people using the best platform available to them?

I'd assume you'd also break a picket line if your union went on strike, too, right?

Also..why is "police should treat white people and black people the same" a controversial enough topic for it to possibly cost a player their job in the first place?
