Also, not to go into full on negative nancy mode; but is there any actual evidence that is a great football coach instead of a guy who got lucky with a bunch of superstars on rookie contracts and his GM was allowed to ape shit in free agency for defensive stars AND depth - including a star QB that was being paid less than a million dollars a year?

See that's my point. They were a "decent team in an incredibly tough division" LAST YEAR. They finished 8-8. The thing that makes it a little harder to project is the NFC West plays two other incredibly tough divisions next year: The AFC West and the NFC North. Much tougher than the NFC east and the AFC South.
Huh, I thought palmer went out much later in the season. Arizonas schedule will be tougher this year. And they have a coaching change. At some point Bradford injuries will come unless Rosen wins the job before that happens. So I'll revise to
12-4 Rams
9-7 SF
7-9 ARI
5-11 SEA

Basically how the Eagles were built
Right, there's kinda only two ways to win in sports with a cap nowadays, either nail draft picks and load up in free agency(2015 GSW, Seattle, Philly) or have generational talent on sweetheart deals (Pats, current GSW). You can opt for a combination of 1 and 2 (Spurs).
There's only one other proven way but it's not applicable in the NFL

well its a lot more about underpaying athletes that seriously fuck up their health, but no one really cares about that end of the stick
True. I mostly watch MLS where that isn't an issue because players can go to other places to make more.
This seems a lot like willful ignorance given the players that make up the MLS.
If they are good enough to earn more elsewhere, they can. A number of American players make artificially more by being in the MLS relative to what they made in Europe (Altidore, Bradley, etc)

The real question is:
Which will happen first, Bradford gets injured or Rosen wins the job by skill?
Bradford could go down at any time. Preseason or regular season. I kinda think that will happen first

Look, I feel like every QB with a modicum of talent comes in, plays pretty well early, defenses adjust to them during the offseason. That's why there's a Sophomore slump.
I'm not sold on Garropolo being the next Aaron Rodgers, and think he may be closer to the next Dak Prescott.
I've only made one good post, and don't you dare accuse me of doing it again.

Thread usually goes up in mish mash in a month, month and a half. Someone will hopefully remember and give you a poke when it does.

I bet we are still in the top half of the league. And since the whole offense is build around Russell Wilson I don't think the OLine is the highest priority. You can't have everything.
Well, the Seahawks *might* have Kam Chancellor. There's a scan in June that likely determines whether he'll even play again, let alone playing next season.

good posting
Bradford is pretty good. I mean, I could see him being rusty with his latest injury but if he's like he was with the Vikes early season I don't really see Rosen replacing him.
