So this is an msnbc piece about, among other things, a guy wearing a maga hat and carrying a flag and a semi-automatic pistol walking around outside Santa Fe highschool. The reporters ask him, “what are you doing here?” He replies “I’m just here to help” and moves on.

Maybe he can help Alex Jones and and other "False Flag! Crisis Actors!" asshole douchebags realize that they are asshole douchebags.

These threads are really uninteresting.

Seems to me there are a high number of gun owners, particularly white, who own guns because it makes them feel safe from "the other", be it minorities, the "deep-state", etc. and they feel that owning a gun makes them important and relevant. They carry the gun looking for problems they can solve with their gun to make them important and relevant.

This isn't inherently a problem with the people as they are just a symptom. There's something wrong with our society where we churn out millions of people that are essentially cogs in a capitalist system that makes us cattle for the ultra-rich. We exist to keep the system going. All resistance - left and right - is a response to that.

Have an opinion and state it.

Basically what you're doing now is bringing up a topic and saying "Discuss." Which doesn't work because people generally feel free to post their opinions on things without your permission. If you want to prompt people to share an opinion that they might not otherwise post, then share your opinion first. That then prompts people to agree or disagree and conversation goes from there.

I think "Big Gun" has tricked otherwise fine people into believing guns do something they don't.

My lean is conversation but I doubt I know all the details from this summary, and I doubt the article itself has all the details either

obviously trying to start some shit and get on the TV. That's why lefties show up to talks and scream at people at college. That's why you have open carry parades. That's why you get dicks like this guy. It's simply what people are encouraged to do due to the advent of social media and the attention economy.
