Paint Your Wagon...yep that is the single musical I have seen performed live.
My Uncle always use'ta say, 'You can't get no blood from a turnip.' .... He'd say the same thing about gettin' it from a stone, too.
-
I never said nothin' back to him. You don't want mess with no freak that's searchin' around that hard for blood.

Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder
Something Rotten
Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nightime (I know this isn't a musical)
Into the Woods
Fiddler on the Roof
Music Man
Cinderella

An American in Paris
School of Rock

there might be one or two more that I'm blanking on so i might update this
Show

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
The Producers
Beauty and the Beast (I've seen this live 5 times, it was my favorite movie growing up. I wore out a VHS tape because I would literally watch this and rewind it to watch it again, and repeat)
Wicked (The first time I saw this, I skipped school to see it)
Into the Woods
Hairspray
Little Shop of Horrors
West Side Story
Miss Saigon
RENT
Cinderella
The Pajama Game
Annie
Footloose
The Sound of Music
Grease (The movie is better...fight me)
Fiddler on the Roof
Les Mis (I've come to really like Les Mis, and have decided that I just did not like the first time I saw it live...because of some cystic decisions that made it very hard to follow)
The Wizard of Oz
Meet Me In St. Louis
The Nutcracker
Cats

I know I'm missing some, but this is what I can remember.

I left out strictly plays, but have seen some that would outshine some of the musicals here.

Curious incident I've also seen but it isn't included. I was also in a crap seat.
Mostly retired. Unless you ask or it's something interesting.

Les Miserables
Wicked
Chicago
The Lion King

Huh... I guess although I consider myself as someone who likes musicals, I haven't actually seen that many live.

The top two are basically tied and the bottom two are basically tied. The top two were both super good, the bottom two were both okay but didn't really captivate me.

We've got tickets for Hamilton in August so I can't really rank it yet but I've watched it on youtube and listened to the soundtrack over and over so I'm like certain it's going to be top of my list.

Hard to definitively order, but

Les Mis (first show I ever saw live, on broadway as part of a high school bus trip. I was blown away and no theater experience has come close to matching this since, including the 2nd time I saw Les Mis in Cleveland)
Hamilton (Cleveland)
Wicked (Cle x2)
Newsies (NYC Broadway with original cast)
Avenue Q (NYC off broadway)
Book of Mormon (Pittsburgh, wife and I went with her parents which made it kind of awkward lol)
Rent (Cle I think x2 can't remember)
Spamalot (Cle)
Aladdin (Cle)
Waitress (Cle)
In the Heights (Cle)
Miss Saigon (Cle)
Love Never Dies (Cle)

Of this list, I only disliked Love Never Dies, but Miss Saigon was pretty disappointing considering how long I've been interested in seeing it. Les Mis thought BoM were all 'A+ tier' for me.

Coming soon:
Dear Evan Hansen (in a couple weeks!)
Lion King (August)
Frozen (next summer most likely, for the kids)

Dear Evan Hansen was like an A+ first act and B- second act I'd put it somewhere in the first half of my list. Only problem was how dusty the theater was - you could tell from all the sniffles and watery eyes. Benj Pasek and Justin Paul sure do write some catchy music, although my brain won't stop mashing up DEH and greatest showman songs now.

Seeing Book of Mormon again when it comes back to cleveland for a week in september.
