Desert Island Discs Returns!

Hello good people.

For those that know me, it's good to be back. For those that don't, I used to help manage the RadioScum station we used to have here on the forums, and had a full two hour long show called Desert Island Discs, where I basically played people's favourite songs along with the reasons they gave.

Unfortunately, while the above link does show a whole stack of episodes I previously did... the links within are long dead, and the files they should link to are also long gone from any computer I once had. That being said, I'm considering starting it up again and doing it in more of a podcast format. Why? Because I can. Also, I enjoy hearing new music, and it's a good way to learn more about each other as well.

Anyway, how the fuck does this work?

It's simple, I need 10 songs from you. Plus reasons as to what make them important. The more in depth your reasoning the better. I'd much rather read out some serious reason as to what the song means to you over "I like this as it's the first song I bought" and nothing more.

As this is a podcast, I don't give a shit how long they are (but seriously... if they're longer than 10 minutes, you're getting lynched for real), I'll try and make each episode at least an hour long by adding some filler of my own (oh yes, you are still all getting subjected to my music taste, have no fear about that).

If you can send me the songs as well then that's even better, but if not I'll see if I can track them down in some form or other.

I'll do the shows in the order I receive them, and update in this thread as I go. I'll wait until I have at least a few entries before officially starting, and aim to get at least one episode out a week all being well.

I am hesitant to submit because I wouldn't have good explanations but I would enjoy listening to this

Still send some stuff in anyway. Obviously in depth reasoning is ideal, but more episodes are better.
