Because Has-Borg (as we game industry insiders call them... "resistance is futile, you will be assimilated!" ) has been steadily buying up any and all game companies possible. For instance, did you know that Hasbro owns Parker Brothers, Milton Bradley, WotC (as MGIA mentioned), TSR, and Avalon Hill? They have also made overtures toward countless other game and toy manufacturers over the years... in short, they are attempting to monopolize the game and toy industry (just like Microsoft and Disney have done to their respective industries). Ergo, they're an Evil Empire. The point of the journey is not to arrive...- blackhawk

I read that aritcle in Wired, it was very interesting, it mentioned that in the five movies its already made its gotten 2.5 billion dollars, making it the most succesful movie making company ever. It also mentioned that Disney is no longer going to do 2-d movies which shows you that they needed Pixar to bring in lots of money. It also showed the movies coming out this year that are entirely CG animated, thus making Pixar a giant above all by making theirs so early. The Downfall of An Evil Empire is Upon, Dourgrim-

Perhaps because it would've been a major plot complication that had nothing to do with the major themes of the movie and would've introduced themes considered innapropriate for family entertainment?MUNSCM Delegate for the United Kingdom

Ah, true enough. This is the same movie that was missing half the muses.Norinel wrote:
I believe this is one of the major things where the movie deviated from the mythology. IIRC, Hercules' mother is Hera in the movie; I won't guess as to why.gashlycrumb wrote:Hercules' [Heracles] mother was Alcmene, a mortal. Because Heracles was the result of this infidelity, Hera despised him.-

1up, it helps to read the whole thread and take things in context.
Blackhawk, it's bad to comment on things you don't remember properly(still in reference to Disney'sHercules), unless you really think 2 = 0. Then it's bad to use such poor math.MUNSCM Delegate for the United Kingdom
