Proposal 325: New Mutable Rule: Any group of three or more players can format unanimous agreement, which makes the group successful and causes all players in the group to receive 5 points. No player may be in more than one such successful group within the span of 48 hours.

Proposal 326: New Mutable Rule: Any player may form a miniature game of Mafia with a unique title, and that player will mod the game if 5 players join (using a 4v1 setup with one town Neapolitan and possibly one Doctor, no other PRs). Each member of the winning team receives 10 points and 15 light bulbs. All discussion must take place within this thread and be in quote tags or spoiler tags with the correct title.

Proposal 327: When this rule is instated, all players get 5 reject tokens. Each vote of Yea gives the voter 2 reject tokens; each Nay costs 1 token. You automatically vote Yea if you have 0. (Retracting a Yea costs 2 tokens and retracting a Nay gives you 1 token back.)

Like, I would form a group {Me, Charles510, Invisibility} and if all three in the group then (1) we all get 5 points and (2) none of us can be in another group for the next 48 hours.

Proposal 331: Amend rule 207 to say that all players have exactly one vote unless another rule specifically overrides this rule.

Without this, since 207 is a lower ordinal number than anything we can propose, there will never be ways to e.g. buy more votes or possibly do things like 332 below.

Proposal 332: Initiate a currency called "light bulbs", of which all players start with zero. A player may spend 10 light bulbs to force another player to vote a certain way on one proposal. This is non-refundable.

I have tried twice to get a new currency created. Last try:

Proposal 334: Create a new rule that states "Each player starts with 15 lightbulbs", and also grants all players except me 3 points.

The last clause means that you have no incentive to hurt this purely to stop me from getting points. Also remember that the "forced vote" proposal failed so no need to fear for your votes.

Proposal 335: Creates the Lightbulb Market. Any player may invest by spending a number of lightbulbs equal to (# investors + 1), or withdraw their investment to receive a number of lightbulbs equal to (# investors).

So, if 3 people are in the market, you can invest by spending 4. If later 2 more join, then there are 6 investors, and you can get out and gain 6 lightbulbs, a net profit of 2. (Of course, you can also lose lightbulbs this way... your risk.)
This is just like the stock market but WAY simpler.

At some point we can find a practical use for lightbulbs...

You can’t vote neutral and the proper way to do it is by amending rules. Precedence is a really important thing to have; in fact, it ought to be transmuted to an immutable law as it is that important.

Proposal 355 -- Rule: Every 48 hours, a player may acquire one lightbulb.
Proposal 356: Amend whatever rule created the lightbulb market to state this: "Any player may invest in the lightbulb market a maximum of three times, but not twice within 24 hours. The price to invest goes up every time a player invests, and goes down when a player withdraws (they receive their payment after withdrawing, therefore the price is adjusted before they get paid)."

(We do not have enough players for the market to become very profitable, so I am making it easier for the prices to soar. I know, the wording is awkward.)

Also I remember this:

I'm actually considering running Nomic Mafia sometime, but I haven't really thought too much in terms of an actual setup. The main thing I thought about was how to incorporate Nomic while keeping the game within the site's rules and keeping the game "fair" so to speak.

You could have immutable rules that prevent certain leakage of information, and secret ballots so that scum could actually reject some proposals without instantly outing themselves. (Immutable rules require unanimous consent, right?)

Specifically we could have all the 100s and 200s ruleset, with some additional rules that add the mafia to it (in the immutable section, of course). Or alternatively some rules can be designated as impossible to transmute.
