... I'd be very interested to see what you can do with just a singular voice on a song in the future since I know you have a lovely tone and quality to your voice. Maybe you will surprise me in a future round with that?
You know, I was gonna keep the harmony thing rolling but I guess I might think about it next r...
Mina has chosen Broadway, Round 2 begins now and you have your theme.
*looks at song I had already thought about singing before I even knew there was going to be a Broadway round*

In post 245, Mina wrote:By the way, you should all be very thankful I'm trying to give my vocal cords a rest, because I was tempted to subject you to more cat murder with this song.

"Wow," you may be thinking. "I had no idea you were able to belt some of those ridiculous high notes." To which my response would be, "...no, I most certainly can't, but I wasn't going to let that stop me." This time instead of abusing my vocal cords, I think I'll abuse my lungs instead.
I finally checked to see what song you were referring to, and I want you to know I seriously considered Candy Store.

Malkon, does this include country-adjacent genres like western swing or bluegrass? Basically I'm assuming that anything that would be performed at the Grand Ole Opry would qualify.

By the way, did you know that it wasn't until the 1950s that people started to accept the premise that women could sing falsetto? Every time I remember that I still can't believe it.

What about a song that was written for a movie but then the studio decided they wanted a different artist to sing it instead and then that second artist released her recording a month before the movie came out and then the first artist who was supposed to be in the movie but wasn't released her version of the song the same day as the second artist?

"You Know My Name" is probably the best Bond song and the best Bond opening sequence, attached to not the best movie but still a good movie.

I almost did "A View To A Kill", which is the second-best Bond song attached to the absolute worst Bond movie.
