There are a bunch of desks in the south, where the minio....employees work, and a big CCTV wall. It doesnt show much though, it's showing the Eatery - where nothing is happening. There is a single PC here, but it lacks a monitor.

It's dark in here. Someone has turned the lights off. You cannot see where each other is standing.

The lights are now on, you are both standing next to each other as the lightswitch is right by the elevator.

Well, the right hand side of the room is still pretty bright. That TV monitor is pretty bright. It shows up a book under the Very Old Morning Tea table (Which was PMed to Lacey and cross-cross posted )

The CCTV shows smoke coming from the Phone store and out into the eatery.

It does on screen look like water is spraying onto the floor outside the door. So at least the mall has that - but they might not have any in the elevator shaft.

The elevator lowers to your floor. It opens but its smoky. Breathing in it may prove difficult.

Smoke starts to fill the room quite a bit heavier. The blaze is a problem. From the TV, you know it has to be isolated to the shaft - there is water (actually foam, because water doesnt put out grease fires) in the phone store.

The elevator goes down and smothers the fire. You made the right call, the water cooler would have been disasterous

Yes, had you used the water cooler, the mod caused deaths list would probably have increased by 2

You see a monster inside the fashion store having a fight with nexus, who then vanishes (Nexus, not the monster).
You watch the monster trashing the now empty fashion store. Seriously, that thing is 8ft tall, at least.
You see smoke come out from the fashion store, and also the cafe
You see smoke come out from the bathrooms.
You watch Lacey in the phone store operating a switchboard, which seems to do something to the elevator right next to it.
You watch Lacey disappear behind the shelves
You watch the Phone Store catch alight after something falls from above.
You see smoke and fire in the phone store. The elevator descends.
*resumes*

You dont see any sign of any other people.

The working copy machine would have been useful if you wanted to share the pickpocketing book around
The water cooler and cups are useless now you've put out the fire. (Not that you wanted to do that) Unless you can think of a use I havent imagined.

The elevator comes back up. However I have a planned power cut starting at 1, for two hours. It might be a while waiting on it.
