It'd realistically have to be everyone to avoid giving away hand data. I think directly contacting people probably makes more sense. I just wanted to make sure people didn't mind a decent amount of pm spam
Not just everyone but everywhere. Yeah, I think asking is the only real feasible strategy here. Otherwise, pace-of-play will be on a cosmic scale.

Like, I've played a few times, I wouldn't say I'm an expert or anything of the sort, but I'd like to think I have a handle on this.
Basically, cases where, if certain circumstances are true, I know for 100% sure I'm going to want to use a particular card / the Chosen power / etc. So I've told Mizzytastic that if certain circumstances come up, they don't have to ask me if I want to (X) - just do it. Hopefully to speed things up.
Or this is all one colossal bluff, and I sent them a list of things I'd hypothetically do *if* I had the cards / powers in question. Insert innocent whistling here.

"Nobody's happy here." Prophetic words indeed, O Parasite, when you send a single ship up against the Shadow.

Interesting. So you'd rather allow eleven ships to go to the Warp - swelling Warpish's power considerably - than take the loss of two of your own? Yes, you yourself may not be at risk in the near future, but letting Warpish run rampant through everyone else doesn't bode well for your own chances of victory.

To be perfectly fair, there should be *some* time no matter what - otherwise it reveals to everyone that no one can do anything, which is valuable information to have. At least enough time for everyone to check in and say they're not doing anything, whether explicitly or implicitly.

Choosing to be the front-runner is to invite every hand turned against you. But we have not reached that point yet. I appreciate your offer, Warpish, but must decline.

Interesting choice indeed, Shadow. It looks like you propose a four-way tie for first.
Warpish may join the defense, since you did not choose to allow them to join the offense. And they have little incentive to stay out of the fray, given that every loss they suffer only strengthens their combat power, while a win could strengthen their hand for the attack.
Still, despite this, I do not think you would have chosen the Miser as your target if you did not think you could deal with a depth of cards. Nor do I think you would choose to sacrifice yourself and your allies, given Warpish's presence.

Ah yes, the favor of changing this from "we gain a foreign colony" to "we gain nothing." Or perhaps you meant the favor of "Warpish gains a +6 bonus right as they become the offensive player, when we are the most likely targets," instead of the +1 they would have gained if you hadn't played the Emotion Control ... or the +0 they would have gained if either of you had been interested in actually dealing fairly.
Yes, I for one will be sure to remember these favors well.

I offer a foreign colony for a foreign colony. That puts us both at two foreign colonies. Yes, my turn is coming up, but even if I win both of my encounters, that will only bring me to four.
No restrictions on either side - you choose which planet in my system you want to occupy and with how many tokens; I do the same with a planet in yours.

I see little meaningful difference between you having a +17 bonus and a +23 bonus. Either one requires an overwhelming force multiplier to beat.
The only case where it would matter is when everyone allies against you - and so far, that hasn't happened. Plus all it would take for you to defeat that strategy is offer alliances yourself. People side with the winners, unless doing so makes them losers.

Miser, you surprise me. I would have thought if anyone would have the sorts of cards that would actually care about Warpish's bonus getting larger, it'd be you. Your turn isn't that far away, and there are still plenty of Blue cards left in the Destiny deck.

I can think of a few reasons where forcing a breach would make sense.
Possibly you have a Mobius Tubes. It would make sense to play that at the start of your turn, especially if Destiny is tilted towards your encountering Warpish. A more powerful Warpish would not concern you if I'm the only one that potentially has to face them.
Possibly your main hand is running low on challenge cards, and you anticipate drawing a new one shortly; in that case, figuring using it is better than losing it.
Possibly you have no decent cards left, and genuinely do not care how strong Warpish's bonus is - figuring you are unlikely to gain allies in fights against them.

Given that I'm the next player up, I didn't think I could consider the issue from a neutral point of view. Thanks for clearing this up.

Some choices are made for us. An encounter is inevitable.
However, destroying Parasite's ships may not be necessary here. I see that one of Parasite's planets is undefended, with only Warpish present. No blood need be shed.
Put 1 ship each from Green 1/2/3 into the Gate and point it at Red-1.
Parasite. Do you have interest in negotiating during this challenge? As a sign of good faith, I am aiming away from your fleet.

Indeed so. My comment was made due to the Chosen power giving some rather strange results - which turned out to be in error, so it looks like the answer to my question is "no."
The day is yours, unless my allies can change the outcome. My power was of no help.
