Looking at the last hand to figure out dealing order.

Bidding player gets first card, then down the line from there, with Dealer getting one card after everyone else gets first card.
Then second cards dealt out in same order (bidding player first, down the line, dealer last).
Then each player makes their decisions in order, making all decisions until standing or busting. Finally, dealer plays out.

Dealer's eight of hearts from Hand 14 wasn't marked off from the sheet; that's now done.

Going to see if I can build up something of a buffer, with the holidays approaching.

Hand 16. NOTE - the cut card comes up during this deal, so we'll be reshuffling after the hand's done, as you mentioned earlier.

Bets start with Zen Count/Basic.

Zen Count/Basic: TCount is at -5.mumble. Definitely not in the >1 or anything else category; it bets $5,000.

ND Bot: soft 13 versus the Jack. That calls for a HIT. It gets a 4D, making it a soft 17. Another HIT, this time with a QD and turning it into a hard 17, where it STANDs.

Apple Siri: hard 12 vs. the Jack. That's not a 4-6, so HIT. 9C brings it to 21 where it must STAND.

Deck reshuffled; I added a new column and used random.org to generate a new list of 312 cards from 6 decks, all cards except jokers included. Old column being saved for archival reasons.

OP updated with new totals.

Hand 17.

Bets start with ND bot. It bets its usual $5,000.
Apple Siri: bets last round summed to $63,000. Divided by four, that's $15,750, rounded up to $16,000.
Minimalist Bot: not a hand divisible by five, so $25,000.
Zen Count/Basic: working off of a fresh deck, so TCount is 0. Still not >1, so minimum bet of $5,000.

Also, I think the insurance formula for Zen Count/Basic is wrong. It's working off of the Seen values, but based on what the bot's instructions are, it should be working off of the Current values, I think? Changing it from (K3/L3) to (K4/L4).

Think what I'm going to do is write up Hand 18 now in here - post Hand 17 sometime tomorrow (Tuesday), post Hand 18 on Wednesday, and then break for the holiday - with a long timer for player error corrections. Probably running over the holiday weekend.

Hand 18 - Elimination Hand

Apple Siri is first to bet. The four bets from hand 17 add up to $51,000, averaging $12,750 - rounding up to $13,000.
Minimalist Bot does its usual $25,000.

Hand 18 has been posted. I noticed a payout error on my end here - Apple Siri should have received $19,500 for its blackjack, not $21,000. Correct amount was posted in the main thread.

Appeals have been opened with a 96 hour deadline. PM has been sent.

Once that deadline passes, I'll start working on the next batch of hands. Don't want to do it sooner in case anything needs to be replayed.

It makes sense from a "the house always wins" perspective - but yeah, against a large enough field, it's not a winning-the-tournament strategy.

One thing I've learned - bots need to account for the game state when calculating their bets. Like, "If I'm about to be eliminated, bet big," or something to that effect. Of course, if that strategy is generally known, it could have some interesting WIFOM-like effects ...
